Yes, however I would not recommend less than 50x50, most landforms will just look weird at that point.
Geological Landforms does not (and will never) support non-square map sizes. It is simply not built for that. Some landform might work ok-ish, but others will break horribly.
Hi, I'm the author of Geological Landforms, I could not replicate the issue you described, map size is changing as expected with both mods enabled. Could you please try again with all other mods disabled to confirm the issue is caused by Geological Landforms?
I can't find exactly what it does that overrides the values this mod sets (though I admit I haven't looked very far). I will add it to the known incompatibilities. Cheers
In essence, this mod does the smallest, simplest, possible thing. It provides a neat UI for the game's own Width and Height parameters for map generation. If anyone bypasses those (or sets those after you've made your pick during scenario setup) then this mod will be ineffective.
You can try posting your HugsLib report here (assuming you have it installed) and I can try to make an educated guess as to which mod is the culprit, but I'll be guessing, same as you.
If you do find out, please let me know so that I can add it to the list in the description.
Its RocketMan performance mod

Though I have done with other map mods called better map sizes(not sure if required or not) and map preview(to check it it worked)
LOL
This mod works as-is for 1.5. I will be updating it soon but you can still use it as it is.
I have a couple mods that haven't been updated since 1.2 and still work.
HMMMM?
Apparently big maps have the fog covering everything so you have to mine something so it can be claimed as discovered.
kind of annoying really
Gonna start trying smaller maps after I sleep. 1,300 and lower until I reach 700 as a minimum.
I want big maps.
