Love the mod. Just an idea what if you added the inventory of the blueprint to the materials list so that you can spawn fully loaded grids without being able to spam fee stuff into survival mode.

I don't suppose you'd be willing to add a button that allows the user to build as much of the ship as possible with the compnents they have? Or ignore certain components

Hello, would it be possible to use it to place the buildgrid command in a button panel, and the player who presses the button will spawn the grid in his name?
at the moment it comes out in the name of the owner of the projector or console block

You have to use a projector block that can display subgrids, like the console block.

As this mod is dealing with projectors.. Any idea Where i can get a mod that will add "Repair Projection" button that used to be on the Multigrid Projector Extra mod?

Thank you. That's an amazing mod for making a survival battle race with friends - fast respawn of vehicle if destroyed. I have a question: any idea how to spawn (instant build via projector) vehicles with fully loaded hydrogen tanks? That's not a problem in creative mod - they loads automatically, buy we are playing on survival server and fresh builded car is empty and can't join the race immediately

Thank you. When Automatons came out i wanted to create a mad max style world with bump and grind rover combat. spawning the enemy vehicles was the only thing holding me back. your little button trick and mod have made everything possible.

@avaness People can use this mod to build blocks from DLC's they do not own. You need to add a DLC check with client. Bug reported to keen

I saw something similar in a station (mod?) where one could sell an owned grid to the station and get credits, instead getting invested or parts of the investment of grids back again would be nice. So you could test out a grid and see if suits your needs or has something special you may addept for your own grid, while not having to go into the design mod in a private game.

While i do like to build grinder pits, in 0g they are a bit unreliable parts flying of into space and what not. So an instant grinder/projector seem to be a natural combination, wouldn't you agree? Not that you sjould feel pressured into doing this. I am just brainstorming an idea here.

Is this for a scenario? Technically you can do this if a button panel is used and both the projector and button panel are set to be owned by the enemy. It doesnt look like it is possible to get the original ownership info in the mod api.

Any way you could add the option to keep original ownership. It would allow for the creation of spawners to pop in custom enemy grids.

This needs a reverse capability of an instant grinder and then placing all components into cargo containers. Anyone by chance knows about an existing mod like that?

You sure people who don't have the DLC can actually use the console block. Asked one my users on the server and they said no.
It looks like they require the DLC to use it.

Don't suppose there is any option to keep station grids from being built is there? Had some players think printing out a base was a viable option. In gravity.

I have a small grid projector connected to my base with a rotor and whenever I try to build my ship nothing happens. I checked my inventory and it says I had the stuff needed. Does the stuff need to be on the small grid?

I've been having an issue with this crashing my dedicated server whenever changing settings or attempting to print. This may be an issue with weaponcore or some other mod but I am unsure as it worked in singleplayer. Any known causes?

Thats a configurable setting, and on the sever, those settings have been configured, so it does not allow people to print 12k ships in 3s, even with 12gw of max total power generation on my base, the slider can only go so high, I'm not saying that it prints too slowly, I'm wishing it would save the time its taken on the grid its printing, when when concealment takes the grid, or the sever restarts, it would pick back off from wherever it last saved from, its certainly possible to do so, but the author has not responded to any questions or comments on this page since late July
The ships we are printing sometimes are in the half million block range, to save mass amounts of performance on large welder walls, we use this mod, but it has problems, which is why I asked here, if it takes 24h to print a ship, them somebody has to support a few GW of power for 24 RL hours, that's a lot of power generation and or storage that you now have to manage.

Hey Avaness. Love the mod and want to use it on my server but need to change a couple things for making the projector it uses a custom one rather then default projector. Would you mind if I duplicate this mod and reupload giving you full credit in the mod description.

increase your grid power production. i can print a 12k block ship in 3 seconds. higher power means more speed on the projection

Hi, great mod, been loving it so far to keep sim speed high on my server.

Problem: during server restarts, or leaving the game, if the projector is printing, it stops, and consumes the power but no resources and provides no ship, if it take 3h to print a ship at max speed, and server restarts are every 2h, you get the idea, there is no point in doing that as its just going to consume the power and provide no ship, I do not know if this is concealment or just a restart issue, but the projector also gets turned off which I am assuming is concealment, is there any way for it to "pause" when it restarts or you go offline? Issue also happens in single player world I believe.

it doesnt allow it unless its in the sky, which ive said avaness, unless loose is checked it will not go active. you should update it so it can build attached to other blocks as we ended up using another mod. thanks for your time.

Move the projection away from all blocks and click build. Ignore the block status in the terminal completely

it will only build when checking loose, if we build a ramp for it to land it, it says out of bounds again, so only option is for it to drop and break after build.
