I think to many, it will be useful for those who added all modified agents.
You will not be able to select some of the agents, since the interface does not imply such a number of characters. To partially fix this, you can add slots in the training center in the code via Steam\steamapps\common\XCOM-Chimera-Squad\XComGame\Config\DefaultStrategyTuning.ini, set BaseTrainingAgentLimit = 3

Hello!
1. Tell me, can I somehow increase the frequency of receiving agents?
2. I have all the mods for agents installed, will this be a problem?
Thank you in advance.

Using the Xcom Alternative Mod launcher to run this. It makes the game so much nicer to play, and lets me switch between my cast of fun characters without worrying about being under leveled. I love it!
DERPKING1991 Feb 11, 2022 @ 12:25pm
sadly this broke my missions in the game so i cant move on XD
amokay Mar 17, 2021 @ 4:17pm
@wicked lester you do get it if you get all agents in the barracks to be maxed
Jono Feb 8, 2021 @ 2:07pm
Is there a way to get it to allow more than 11 agents? I have the mod that adds Julian Shen.

I had the same issue as Warden Harry Dresden noted below. Any fixes?

Warden Harry Dresden 2 May @ 2:25am
I have a bug where the game won't let me continue to a new mission because it days I have a squad selection, but when I click the notification to choose a member, it only open the Armory. I had originally set the XComGame.ini "AdditionalUnits" value high because I didn't know how many agents there were. I have set it back to 3 and loaded the save for the last turn in the mission before I was the agent selection option, but it still gives me that choice.

I reset the AdditionalUnits value back to 3 and still got the same message. I even installed the "New Agent: Julian Shen" mod, (https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2073095846) , and set the https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2073095846 value to 4, then reloaded back to the last mission, and I still don't have an option to select a new agent.

Help! I hope I didn't just bork my whole save...

I'm looking forward to using this once I've completed my current playthrough.

Loving all your mods, mate, great work so far~
RadiantGame Jun 8, 2020 @ 11:17am
Can this allow to get more than 11 agents if i get more with other mods?
wicked lester Jun 6, 2020 @ 2:38am
Just a heads up, this does seem to prevent the "all agents at max level" achievement as it doesn't trigger when you have 8 maxed out with this mod active.
LateCustomer May 23, 2020 @ 9:58pm
Thanks for the mod! Is there any way to edit files so we can have all members in one go? Barring that, getting a squad member after every mission would be fine too.
insightguy May 17, 2020 @ 9:19am
Is there any way to "scroll" when assigning the operators? sometimes I seem to have to arrange the operators in weird configurations before I can get it right.
OSMOSIS WOLF May 10, 2020 @ 2:05am
Thanks but I restarted a new playthrough I wanna play with new agents.
RealityMachina  [author] May 10, 2020 @ 1:44am
It should be a clean process to uninstall that mod, I don't do anything intrusive with either mods.
OSMOSIS WOLF May 9, 2020 @ 11:29pm
what do I do when I already have Base Agents Gain XP? uninstall and install this one? will it break my save?
Tr4cker0 May 8, 2020 @ 11:26am
Your mod is so cool ! Can you make a mod that allow us to reset agent's perks ?
Pejck May 8, 2020 @ 2:13am
Just started a new playthrough and everyone's leveling up way too fast, the entire team's at rank 4 before even finishing the first investigation. I think 0.5 XP share would be a more sensible default rather than everyone getting full XP.
Online Addict May 7, 2020 @ 4:31pm
Good to know.
Player May 7, 2020 @ 2:11pm
tried it with the freeplay mod and it works
Hypoxia May 3, 2020 @ 3:34am
I think there may be a slight bug with armour and weapons where there are only enough weapons and armour for 8 agents and you are unable to unequip default weapons and armour meaning agents can be trapped without weapons or armour.
Lightning-D-Bo May 2, 2020 @ 8:11am
so you cant have more then 8 ?
Online Addict May 2, 2020 @ 4:44am
Oh. You musta made an update then cuz I swear when the mod first came out, like every day I got a new guy. Lol. No worries, 6 is cool for now.
RealityMachina  [author] May 1, 2020 @ 10:57pm
Agent #7 is unlocked once you takedown your first faction, Agent #8 unlocks once you finish the first mission against a second faction. The mod should takeover from there.
Online Addict May 1, 2020 @ 9:26pm
There's seems to be a mod conflict somewhere. I added a couple more mods and now I don't think I'm getting more agents. The base XP is still working, but I haven't gotten a new agent in a while and I have only 6 plus the android.

There's a bug where soldiers that don't go on missions always get the max XP if you kill atleast 1 enemy, so they will usually get much more XP then the soldiers on the mission.

Both fMaxKillXP and fKillsXP = class'X2ExperienceConfig'.static.GetActMaxKillXP(CurrentAct);
Elder Apr 29, 2020 @ 3:52pm
I mean, I'll take my A team of Terminal, Axiom, Torque and blueblood but I am curious as to the other abilities and want to experiment. Claymore was suprisngly fun for example
AncientGamer Apr 29, 2020 @ 1:40pm
Nice work. Thank you oh wonderful modder!
GrimShock Apr 29, 2020 @ 12:39pm
the mod just kicked in. I got BlueBlood
Durxa Apr 29, 2020 @ 10:32am
Like some of the others, this worked for me initially but I have dome six missions and haven't had the option to recruit anyone new. The shared exp is working as intended though.
SeymourButtz Apr 29, 2020 @ 10:21am
Worked at first but on a new save it's stopping me from getting agents, I only have 7 and haven't gotten any in over 5 missions.
Zoraste Apr 29, 2020 @ 2:26am
Yeah, noticing I'm not gaining any new agents, even when I normally would. Any chance the mod is interfering with the normal check to gain an agent?
Sixcandy Apr 28, 2020 @ 10:15pm
you can change the number of agents you get in the XComGame.ini file in the workshop folders
GrimShock Apr 28, 2020 @ 10:00pm
Besides not being able to get the extra agents. I was wondering if you can set it only get 1 extra. I only need Blueblood and from the sound of it that won’t clutter the roster.
TheNook Apr 28, 2020 @ 9:31pm
Not sure what's happening but I also have the mod not giving me any agents after the limit - base XP gain seems to be working just fine but after tinkering in the XComGameData.ini with missions and just about to wrap up the second investigation, I still haven't gotten the last few.
SkySpirit Apr 28, 2020 @ 9:23pm
>Sorry, that was my bad: I accidentally left the cheat mode on and so it would just ignore whatever you put there.
Not gonna lie, I cainda liked rapid reinforcements. Maybe it can be implemented as an option to ignore roster limit check and just give new recrut every x-missions?
Sixcandy Apr 28, 2020 @ 9:07pm
Had this mod on since the start of my playthrough and played way more than 3 missions and no other agents coming in is this broken?
GrimShock Apr 28, 2020 @ 9:00pm
I played more than 3 missions and nothing happened. Do you need to use the mod when you get your 8th agent?
JonathanFly Apr 28, 2020 @ 2:13pm
I'd love to combine with Draft Agents on a per mission basis. So we have 8 total agents per campaign, even when we launch a mission, I draft 4 agents out of the 8. Really keep you on your toes!
mavrik114 Apr 28, 2020 @ 9:22am
For people past the vanilla 8 agents limit, another way to get around the UI is to open up more slots in your training/assembly/spec op. Assign those who you don't want to use to those and the agent you want should slowly cycle up since your roster's task list is sorted by "idle", "in apc" and the aforementioned 3 tasks.
Mana Apr 28, 2020 @ 9:00am
can you enable this mid campaign?
Online Addict Apr 28, 2020 @ 6:41am
I suspect that once a mod REQUIRES such a thing, that it'll be made. I've heard that A LOT of the insides of Chimera are very similar to XCOM 2. It's just a matter of time, however with the rate at which mods are being added (at least 1-2 PER DAY), it shouldn't be long.
Malidictus Apr 28, 2020 @ 5:00am
I know XCOM 2 had a Mod Menu mod. Has a version of that showed up for Chimera Squad yet? That might help people with limited computer and modding knowldege tweak their mods, maybe?
GrimShock Apr 27, 2020 @ 9:38pm
Thanks BlueBlood never came up as an option on normal plays. Shelter was also a mistake.

Thanks heaps rm! Really appreciate it :)
DragonKingAbashī Apr 27, 2020 @ 6:30pm
I understand, but it is still rough on you guys. Thanks for your wonderful work Reality! I am hoping the creators of Xcom CS work on a patch soon to fix some of these annoying bugs. It might make things more stable for you all as well.
RealityMachina  [author] Apr 27, 2020 @ 6:26pm
Eh I'm not that bugged about it, I mean it did take me like three minutes to make and upload.
DragonKingAbashī Apr 27, 2020 @ 6:21pm
I think it really is straight forward IF people read the comments and the description. If someone is unable to do that, then they should not be modding their game. The modder can only do so much for the community. We have to do our part. If this was a uc thing, I can understand, but seriously people, both Reality and I mentioned how to set these settings just a day or two ago.
RealityMachina  [author] Apr 27, 2020 @ 6:16pm
ok if people are finding it really that difficult to apply XCOM 2 modding experience over to Chimera squad, I'll make a seperate mod.
