Per the description: "New! There are options to enable melee hunting for various sizes of game (big, medium, or small) and to enable hunting predators (turned off by default). Note that your hunter's fight or flee setting will still apply when the hunted animal fights back."

A small problem though is that if the animal decides to move it does have a delay response on moving towards the updated target's location.
though it seems that had to happen for multiple versions for this mod. How hard would it be to just pop out a quick patch? Allowing melee fighters to hunt seems simple enough.

What HUM does is that it extends the check which the job uses to verify that a pawn has a gun to report back "yes" if they have a melee weapon (if fist fighting is on, it always says yes). So any misbehavior with the job shouldn't be caused by HUM itself, but I will look into it.
