As I mentioned, I want to rework this mod before updating. I've been very busy with real life commitments and my other mods already take a lot of time to update and maintain.

I can't promise a release date yet but in a couple of weeks I will hopefully have it sorted, time permitting.

Where is the 1.3 my dude? I know mods take time but you said it would be done by the end of July...it is now October. did you get sick or did stuff in your life happen??

Hey, when will it work on mac os?

I noticed an issue where the Player.log and player-prev.log were producing continuous errors, all related to this mod. I found a crash file that was over 400GB!

I plan to re-write this mod completely to be better and more stable, and of course work for 1.2 and 1.3.

I can't promise when though, but hopefully before the end of the month.

Will it be updated for 1.3?

I think that I Can't Go On Without You or Save Yourself, both by KALEO, would fit in nicely with the rest of the soundtrack, and while I'm not confident on these next ones, A Message to Myself by The Night Cafe and This World Is Not My Home by The Bedquilt Ramblers may fit too, those are up to your judgement! :> Great mod btw!

You totally need to add the theme from Firefly... either the short official version or the longer cover.

@Lenin's Cat Try restarting your PC, the logs say that the same socket has been re-used which means that the mod has crashed and failed to close properly before re-opening. Another error I'm seeing looks like assets have failed to load, could be because RimWorld has updated. I'll check once I'm at my PC.

I download songs onto Spotify, is there anyway I can play such a song when an event happens without needing an Spotify ID?

@Inanis Haven't seen that particular error before, I can only suggest uninstalling and re-installing the mod, that should fix it.

@Blakewashere On hold because I don't own a mac, and I'm quite busy with real life stuff and also making another mod. Hopefully within the next month I will have found a way to test and release mac support.

@PrissDimmieBana Yes, this is an issue with the Spotify API, not my mod, so unfortunately I can't fix it. What happens is that if you stop playing music/skipping tracks etc. then Spotify 'goes to sleep' and then won't respond to commands to start playing new music unless you manually go into the Spotify app yourself.

So yeah, unfortunately not much I can do to fix it. You can try to fix it yourself by quickly playing and then pausing every few minutes to keep Spotify 'not sleeping'. I will investigate ways to prevent this sleeping automatically but as far as I'm aware there is no easy fix.

@Epicguru I love this mod, and I like that it has functionality for only playing music when certain events happen while still allowing me to listen to the game music when nothing’s happening. However, I’m having an issue where the Spotify music won’t trigger anymore if it’s been too long since it last played.

E.g., if I have a raid and the raid music plays and then I pause it when the raid’s over so the game music will play again, if the next event is too long after then the music won’t trigger.

Do you have any idea what could be causing this?

Please go into the mod settings and enable Debug Window. Then go to the main menu button and click Relaunch and then Authorise. Then send me the log files and also the output from the debug window, thanks.

I can't seem to get the mod to authorize my spotify. Itll send me to spotify on the browser to allow it and then itll say i can close the window but it still says no token and that it's not authorized.

I accepted the terms, but after that it just went to the main menu and nothing poppued up telling me to link my Spotify account
