i'm a little confused here. so do all of these come with all attachments permanently on or do they have support to add and remove the attachments thus changing the appearance depending on what you attach?

Newbie question: I'm currently using the Laser and Coil tier extenders for my game, and I wanna use these just on the Laser tier, and keep Magnetic on its own tier. Would I be able to do that without much hassle? For reference I have the RPG Overhaul on in case that breaks anything.

@Hot Wet Nobel Laureates Not exactly. Those mods affect the vanilla TLP weapons, this weapons are additional ones. I can confirm that this mod's cannon's barrels do rotate without those mods.

@Kyrox don't delete the section, just the semicolon (";") before it. If you want to hide a weapon, delete the semicolon before the line of the weapon. In this case, if you delete the semicolons of the section you posted in the comment, you will hide the magnetic tier of the weapons.

So how do you tell WSR to hide the magnetic tier, and beam tier with conventional tier?

@Kyrox that's intended. Read the description, you can hide unwanted tiers by using the WSR file included in the mod. By default, each of this mods gives you three tiers corresponding to the vanilla three tiers with the same skin.

So I have all three of these mods installed. With the Strategy Overhaul Bridge: WOTC TLP 3 Weapons. I started a new campaign, and I have everything unlocked. Beam weapons, Magnetic, all the weapons. From the very start. They all do the same damage, but why am I seeing magnetic and beam weapon skins without researching the tier first? This makes no sense.

Are these all in one piece(unmoddible bricks) or are they dependent on the attachments? Because IMO, the default TLE_shotgun_MG is on the puny side and I'm looking for something beefyer to use with the skin replacer.

Started using all your 3 '[WOTC] TLP CV/MG/BM Weapons With Visual Attachments REDUX' mods. Fantastic mods IMHO. With this one here (Magnetic Weapons), I found a minor issue. The T2 sniper rifle is not removed from loadout screen after plasma sniper rifle was researched.

For those wishing to hide the base TLE firearms, you can do so by adding the following lines to the XcomWeaponSkinReplacer.ini of each respective weapon pack.

(Change CV to MG for magnetic, and CV to BM for beam)

+WEAPONS_TO_HIDE_KEEP_SCHEMATIC=TLE_AssaultRifle_CV
+WEAPONS_TO_HIDE_KEEP_SCHEMATIC=TLE_Cannon_CV
+WEAPONS_TO_HIDE_KEEP_SCHEMATIC=TLE_Pistol_CV
+WEAPONS_TO_HIDE_KEEP_SCHEMATIC=TLE_Shotgun_CV
+WEAPONS_TO_HIDE_KEEP_SCHEMATIC=TLE_SniperRifle_CV

It will make your armory a lot cleaner, and a lot more immersive. And best of all, it even works with the "Infinite TLE weapons" mod, meaning that you'll be able to use the infinite swords without the additional firearm clutter.

So the last couple days ive been looking through your mods and i wanted to ask, if i want all the tlp cannons to always be carried like a cannon and still work what would i have to do and which mods do i need? I know youve made one that works but carries the cannons like rifles until shot and one that does what i want but does not work. So do you have some guide here?

@Skyran Yeah. LWOTC significantly changes the tech tree and my weapons availability is based around vanilla researches. You can still use the conventional variants, use them via WSR to swap a tier of your choice, or use WSR to modify LWOTC tech tree in order to make the weapons appear.

@Green Raven WSR has a very, very detailed guide that you can find here , alongside plenty of companion ghost packs for it (some of which made by yours truly). I'm sure you will be able to use it properly. I won't do a workshop version because, bluntly, it would amount to around one WSR line per weapon modified.
Regarding your other request (the shoulder fired Cannons), I won't do it. I am currently on hiatus on XCOM 2 Modding and, even if I wasn't, I don't take requests, especially ones who don't really interest me.

I did in fact try the WSR, but I cant get seem to get it to work. Ini files don't like me; I murdered many of thier brethren when trying to adjust the original Long War for EU, and the survivors spread the word. I'll try typing something like "use weapon: coilgun", and then look up to find that the actual words written on the document are "we are coming for you". I was hoping you could create a workshop version, if you have the time. Either way, thanks for answering and thanks for pointing me in the right direction!

Actually, this is a pipe dream, but I figure it cant hurt to ask: is there any chance to create a combined Laser/Mag tier and a Plasma/Coil tier? Rifles and Shotguns use the energy variants, Cannons and Snipers use the physical stuff. But... the skin for the Cannon would be the Mag Rifle / Coil Rifle, so that Grenadiers retain thier look of carrying powerful heavy weaponry without looking comically overburdened. Can I make a request? This should be right up your alley... could you make a mod that makes Grenadiers fire their base weapons (i.e. Mag Cannon) from the shoulder, the way they they fire the LMG?

I have a slight issue, the expanded magazine on assault rifles and stock on sniper rifles appear black (untextured). I use this mod with Iridars weapon skin replacer.

- Added compatibility with [WOTC] Weapon and Item Overhaul (BETA) . FOR IT TO WORK, YOU NEED TO BE ALSO SUBBED TO MY [WOTC] Visual Attachments For Shiremct's Overhaul mod, or else Bipods and Reflex Sights won't work.
