Report a translation problem
This is all I need the mod for.
2) The corsair/automated pirate ships does not work. They will just fly around in the patrol area but do nothing as ships continue to fly by.
3) The manual harass yourself mostly still works to make pirating things yourself easier than vanilla.
4) There are no escape pods for your ships they are NPCs. If you have escape pods it's a
different mod.
5) There are no white lists of any kind. I imagine you were supposed to set this up in neutral
space back when it actually worked.
2. If you have a fleet defending you, and you go into harass, they will harass with you. You just have to be careful that you have the fleet with low damage weps. otherwise they can kill it EASY. I usually pause and send the fleet away before Harass, cause i don't like wasting my time.. just to destroy it. I've not used the corsair command, didn't know it was included, until was looking through the mod code myself. so i can't comment on that part.
Question 1: is it possible to ONLY harass specific factions? IE, the Scale Plate? I've no problem with some of the other factions in the region they inhabit, and I don't want to bother them at all, since they've not done anything to my ships.
Question 2: How exactly do I get these ships to engage in the harassment of SCA pirates? I've got them set to harass in an area that the SCA fly through on the regular, have it to a narrow confined area (5km) and right beyond the gate for the system they enter/leave from.
However, no matter what I seem to do, they just ignore the ship as it flies through the area.
The only other mod that I see that can potentially allow this was Capturable Xenon 7.0.

Sadly, it requires a new game, and I'm JUST starting on my first play through ever. I really, really don't want to restart!

I'm able to get ships to bail, then when I try to claim, the marine goes out, docks.... then nothing. the marine is gone. if i manually claim it works fine.
Also my ships drop Escape pods when they are running away. Not sure if it's related to this mod or others. The escape pods never go away. they have 2 star pilots that i can't recover either.
The protected UI feature must be turned off.
With it turned on, the threat commands will not be displayed.

Version 1.89 is causing issues with no right-click menu options for any mod using it.
However I do not know what other issues it brings, Im testing extensively Mod Support APIs 1.88 with kuertee's UI Extensions 7.1.01 on X4 7.10 beta 1 and everything seems to work fine for now.
It only removes hull damage and components destruction from bailing crew and removes damage done by claiming marines.
It does not have any options of harrassement nor does it change bailing chance and mechanics.
I made it because True Capture stopped working for me in 7.0
Its called Better Capture and is uploaded on NexusMods.
I think the best You could do is to link and describe GitHub fork of your Better Piracy from NomadicBits. That version works well in 7.0 and 7.1 and I have used it to create my simple alternative. Thanks Phex_Serath for the heads up!
Dont get me wrong, I'm too dumb in scripting to keep alive such mod as yours.

Klick on GitHub Link and download the Fork from NomadicBits and place that content in "X4 Foundations\extensions\better_piracy"
That will make the mod work again with 7.0

And a bunch of other mods. Those do show up, and also the extension options are available(once in the actual game).

I am doing a split start playthrough and would like my ships to automatically Pirate the juicy argon traders in heretics end but I don't want them to target other factions.
