9. Next to "Mod Directories" you will see an 'Add' button, click this and add the FULL file path for your XCOM 2 local mods folder (in my case it's C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\XCOM 2\XCom2-WarOfTheChosen\XComGame\Mods)
10. Restart AML and when you open it back up you should see your mods show up under "New"
11. Disable the mods and go to "Duplicates" (if you still are subscribed to the mods in steam) and right click on the entries with the latest "Date Added" date and select 'Enable' (Not sure if this step is required but you can never be too safe)
12. Click 'Run War of the Chosen'
13. IMPORTANT! When starting a new game, you MUST have 'Integrated DLC' ENABLED. I've tested it multiple times, and every time I disable it when creating a game the stats are not changed.
14. Enjoy :)
1. Use Alternative Mod Launcher
2. Subscribe to "ABetterX" mods of your choice
3. Find them in AML, right click and select 'Show in explorer'
4. Once in explorer, click the back arrow to bring you up one layer in explorer to "268500" (This is the XCOM 2 workshop folder) the mod folder should be highlighted
5. Copy the mod folder, then navigate to steamapps\common\XCOM 2\XCom2-WarOfTheChosen\XComGame\Mods (If there is no Mods folder, create one) and paste it in this folder
6. IMPORTANT! Rename the file to the mod ID, e.g. LWOTC_ABetterStart or LWOTC_ABetterRookie
7. Repeat steps 3-7 for all ABetterX mods you want to play with

If you have XCS then give this a try. I'll be coming out with a Lite version and then A Better Agent and A Better Arsenal all with Lite versions here soon.
My recent update might have swung things too far. If you are not using the LITE versions of B.R. and B.A. then give those a try. If you are what you need to do is open the CharacterStats.ini file in the file path listed in the details and search for "Offense". For the most part LWOTC devs zeroed out the offense. In WOTC (non modded) I saw offense around 20-35 for most of the character templates In my recent update I ramped these up to 75-85 in LITE and 105 in the Full.
The one-shot kill... yeah that's what happens when you add just few more points of damage to the weapons. Even in the lite version where its only +2 points you can take out most common mobs with one shot.
By chance are you running any other character class modding mods?
Oh and also, what diff level are you playing at. The lite version in legendary mode is still buffed just not that much.. it should not take away AIM though, so clearly something is wrong.

Also, with the new dev builds you don't have to compile anything, just unzip and either place or replace files. Thanks for the friend request!
That said, I may be missing an obvious link on GitHub or elsewhere that has the latest built version for install. If you have such a link that will cause me a face-palm because I have overlooked it in an obvious place, please share.
