@2962342497 and other people wondering about the compatibility with Vanilla Events Expanded's settings: As far as I can tell, this mod will not conflict with or overwrite VEE. This mod adds a multiplier to the base chance of events, while VEE modifies the base chance itself. If you use both mods, their effects on an event will multiply if you modify the same event in both mods. Just keep VEE's settings at their default value and you should be good.

Disclaimer: I have not done any testing. This is based on looking at each mod's steam page and their in-game settings.

@Calebka88 I think the frequency of events is tied to storyteller, so you may need to look into storyteller mods for that.

is there a mod that increases the frequency of events happening, like one every minute or does that mod not exist

@Primaeval that is 1000000% another mod. This mod , if not altered by the player in the settings, has complete vanilla settings.

Even if set to highest chance in this mod, the game would only roll that event 1 time all few days.

Def. another mod.

Could something be done so I can actually change frequency of orbital traders?
Idk if its due to some mod conflict or whatnot, but I get like 2-3 of them per day.
Its too much and really annoying

Do these settings ovveride, or imitate, the built-in settings in "Vanilla Events Expanded"'s control-panel?

1. What if I've changed the settings over there, and then install this mod?

2. What if I install this mod, and then accidentally change settings over there?

btw if anyone runs into this issue, scroll to the bottom, then close the menu and open it again, and scroll to the top while changing the sliders.

@schadenfreude This mod recognizes more events and allows for more adjustment than VEE. Ran into the same dilemma where i was adjusting events via this mod, VEE and individual mod settings. Safe to say after alot of loading/reloading, this mod is your one stop shop to everything i have tested.

Man this mod is amazing, any chance of making it so we can trigger an event directly from the list (if the event is applicable) i know it can be done via the Dev menu, but this mod is so much cleaner and easier to navigate and see :)

Had so much hopes for this mod, but it turned out to be useless since I cant tune down mechanoid raids vs all the other types of raids.

Far as I understand its by other mods, as in other mods either overwrite the event occurence, overwrite the event as a whole, or have a setting for the event in that mods options.

I see couple people in here having a similar issue. I seem to not be getting any raids, even when I tweak the setting. If I get a raid from a quest, the window pops up, but the raid never happens. Even Caravans pop up but never actually enter the map. Anyone know what this issue could be?

Prison break is not an incident, it's a custom event that triggers per prisoner, so, yes, it's not possible to customize it with this mod.

It only tweaks the probabilities. The game is already performing these calculations anyway. All this mod does is allow us to change the calculations. So the performance should be pretty much the same with or without this mod.

@Sarmacid I suspect that has nothing to do with this mod. Why would I say that? because I just cleaned out a massive 100+GB log. Also my game will also hang when I try to close it causing me to force kill it. I am not currently running this mod. To fix the log you can delete all but 1 log file(it will create another once one gets too large), and then delete everything in the log file and set it as read only. That will fix the log bloat issue.

Hey AUTOMATIC thanks for putting this together. I'm having an issue where when I choose the Quit to OS option while playing, the game doesn't actually close. It just hangs there unresponsive and in the meantime the file at C:\Users\<username>\AppData\LocalLow\Ludeon Studios\RimWorld by Ludeon Studios\Player.log gets filled up to the point where takes up all available hard drive space.

The storyteller patch in the stack is from RIMMSqol. I can't say if RIMMSqol is at fault here or not, but my mod does not seem to be able to cause this kind of error.
