1/ copy the mod in your local Mods folder (see comment below some guys explain it very well)
AND
2/ don't forget to add the local mods folder in AML under Options/settings/Mod directory
I think most people (including me!) who could not make it work forgot to tell AML to actually look for the mod locally.
So much thanks to you!!!!!!!!!!!!
For me it seems like all items from WoTC are not really treated correctly. Not only Bullpup and Vector.
But can be easily adjusted in an hour or two itself.
Has something to do with the fact that some things in LWoTC are found under 2 categories
BullPup and Vector e.g.
[XComGame.X2Item_XpackWeapons] and
[LW_WeaponsAndArmor.X2Item_FactionWeapons]
The author merged them into one so they don't work under the wrong category.
I just put the XComGameData_WeaponData.ini from LWoTC and the same ini from LWOTC_ABetterArsenal(LITE) next to each other and went through it from top to bottom.
Everything looks right to me now. Except for the BeamGrenade Launcher that does not work properly for me even without ABA.
My current Ini of the Lite version I have stored at Pastebin. Is also quite easy to switch to full if you want that.

-DOWNLOAD XCOM 2 Alternate Mod Launcher. (Use it, its better than the default 300%)
-Subscribe to all your preferred "A Better Mod"
-Move the folder of mod to your local mod folder. (Move the whole folder with , for this, its 2047458777to your local mod folder location, its usually steamapps\common\XCOM 2\XCom2-WarOfTheChosen\XComGame\Mods)
-Use AML to activate the mod.
-Thats it. Youre good to go.
(Theres no need to make LWOTC Local, only the A Better series mod you prefer.)
and yes youve gotta copy this mod into the same folder as your LW installation, rename it to the Tag in the editor.ini, and activate it in AML.
not that not all of this is already mentioned and linked above..but yeah, "read think post "is a rule from last century, i know- cry , hate and demanding is king nowadays.
I did as you mentioned at the bottom and it didnt change anything.
The weapons didnt get damage boost nor the ammo capacity upgrade, not only that, but the rookies also didnt start with better stats.
can you please check how to fix this in order to play [LWOTC] with those mods?
To check if I even did everything right I tried changing stuff the same way in other mods configs and it worked, so it looks like the problem of this one.
They become very weak compared to standarts with this.
Lost an entire squad to a purifier tossing one grenade

If you have XCS then give this a try. I'll be coming out with a Lite version and then A Better Agent and A Better Arsenal all with Lite versions here soon.
Naw i'm just play'in I know.
Make sure to load their required mods. There is a link to that collection on the same page.
