Does anyone know if the Comms console needs to be powered for them to show up? I would assume so, but unsure.

@Loopin Having this issue, except it doesn't work this time, I have a combat supplier ship but when I trade, he stares and doesn't go to it, I re log and same crap. Any help?

By the way if you for some reason can't trade with ships (pawn walks up, stares at it, then walks away), just quit to OS and open the game again. No clue why it breaks or why that fixes it.

I'm curious about the incompatibility with SoS2. Technically isn't it possible to make trade ships capable of landing in or next to ships? Is it just that nobody's wanted to do it yet?

I joined this mod midway and didn't see the spaceship until I tried to disable orbital traders, well the spaceship showed up.If you have the same problem, please try.

still having the same problem as always where i don't get as many if in orbital trade ships, and these kind of ships don't show up at all

@spaceprogram444 What you're saying doesn't even make any logical sense to say. Cause this mod is not useless, another mod probably just broke this one and you failed to recognize the mod conflict. While it does break other Space Related trader mods, it is far from useless as it has proven to work for countless people with hundreds of mods active in their modlist. It all just depends on your own preference which of the 2 kinds you'd rather want.

Saying because of that, this mod shouldn't exist, is pure and utter nonsense that carries as little meaning as the rest of your comment, since it is literally stated that: "Removing it when the ship is mid-flight will break the game (black screen and constant error messages). Otherwise, you will get some error lines in log but game should recover." Notice in the last sentence, it says SHOULD.

You never were guaranteed you could remove it mid-game in the first place. Womp womp.

Yeah this mod seems abandoned from maintenance perspective, a million questions and reports and zero responses from mod author

this mod works just fine. i have no issue with it.
you might need to search elsewhere because clearly it is a mod conflict with *your* mods.

I have no trade ship on my map, nor is any arriving etc yet removing the mod completely destroys the savefile.

Do NOT download this mod. its useless anyways and it will break your other trader mods.

This mod shouldnt exist.

Can you shoot the trader ships before they fly away? It looks like they have health but I don't want to risk it if it crashes the game or something...

Works fine on 1.5 with 500 mods for me.

In 100 hours on an Ice colony I only had one issue occur where Trade Ships started landing every 2 days. However on a reload the behaviour went back to normal and never occurred again.

do _NOT_ remove from a save where a trader ship has shown up! Map won't load due to missing references afterward if you do :)

1.5, ships do spawn, but I'm unable to fulfil the trading request. I have all the necessary items (FOR SURE) but it just says "caravan need X items blablabla..."
Is this broken or what the hell am I doing wrong?

something happened
I soent the last 2 weeks individually figuring out what broke my save (crash on load)
it turns out it was this mod

and WVC work modes


all the others only result in a grey screen when loading
so i I can fix that my save is back

if anyone has the same issue might wanna check those 2

If you play modded without backup saves that's your own fault. Never seen a mod author on here recommend to not have backup saves. Also, "removing all the code from my save" is so laughably confident that I almost feel bad for you. You corrupted your save by adding and removing mods midway through and fiddling with files you have no knowledge of. That's your fault and your risk to take, end of this and every story you could tell me. Next time make a backup, and don't be rude to the people that make free content for you when misuse leads to less than desirable results.

Terrible mod. didn't even work first off, then when trying to remove it it bricked my save, finally fixed it by removing all the code from my save, then when I load my save my colony is gone and it loads the world map. GG 0\10 would not recommend.

Hi! Getting an error about "Could not instantiate or initialize a ThingComp : ...not set to an instance" Looks like is about trader ships mods and quest? Not sure if this is related on your end but it mentions trader ships many times and this is the only mod that affects trade in my list.

Is there to tweak the ship accident system? Sometimes the items dropped have too much value!

I was playing a tribal naked brutality colony with just 2 colonists and the colony was still in its early days, so they were both weak. Then a trader ship accident happened and I got phoenix armors, charge rifles and lances and a ton of other stuff... Then my colony's value went through the roof and I started receving A TON of raiders and mechanoids. I had to get rid of all that stuff.

I know I was naive and stupid for getting all those items and I can just ignore them when it drops on the map, but I would have to manually destroy the items so raiders don't pick them up on the floor. That can be really annoying if it happens too often (which it did in my playthrough)...

I had a trader ship which inventory failed to generate, the log mentions something about techprints, could it be another mod causing it?

@1kili2 You just need to left click the trade ship when it lands and click the option at the bottom next to send away. Don't need to use pawns for it

Ruins your 1.5 vanilla save when you want it off. It does not work and by default it turns orbital traders off :((

ships are landing for me fine, both regularly and for missions, im just confused how to compelte the special trade mission i dont get a delivery option when right clicking the ship

ships dont come by themselves, you have to use debug menu to make one come,kinda annoying

Gyger not spawning them but the ships from the missions are landing on the designated spot, but also have noticed that I dont get even the message that there is a trader on orbit.

I'll try with the debug menu

Hello, I have a question, I am at odds with a faction in this case the Empire, because commercial ships of the Empire land if I am at enmity with that faction or it is like that in Vanilla too
