Broken. Crashes every time I try to load a session, even after following the steps shown for getting around the asset limit. Don't install.

This mod works great in the beginning. But after about 50-100 turns in it starts to crash. As I get deeper into the game it starts crashing almost every turn. I do not have any other mods installed as I found that I kept getting error messages stating one or more mods are not working when I try to start up a game. So I removed all mods but this one and then it started to load a new game in. As I stated before, everything works good in the beginning. But now my game is crashing every turn. I'm currently in the Atomic era or a little later than that. Honestly can't even remember now after dealing with crashes for the last few hours.

the mod works fine by itself but doesnt work if you use it with anything else including mod civs

cant start a new game, says that "one or more mods failed to load content"

im just using this modpack and nothing else... seems to be broken with new updates or something

Good news guys, I can finally create a new game after I disabled all the DLCs that can be disabled, so I hope my experience will give you some ideas.

I only have 6 warfare mods installed and prevent the Game from loading 3D animated Leaders, but I still can't create a new game

I know I have to load all 3 mods at once, but the game crashes on me, and it crashes on every other mod combination, except if I just use Reloaded with Warships.

@Primarch sarge you should not use only reloaded...the basic mods need the three - warplanes, reloaded, warships

@d_iperione normally, warplanes, warships and reloaded must go together. the others are optional.

If I use Reloaded only or Reloaded with Warplanes, the game tells me, Error starting game, Manage mods

If I only use Reloaded with Warships, the game works.

In all cases it is important to restart the game before playing, in fact if you had a manage mods and try to use only Reloaded with Warships, you will still have a crash.

It'd be nice if it ran without DLC or we had a lighter version. I'm hitting the asset limit. Gutted my game of all DLC except dependencies and this still has too many assets once all packs are installed. None of the other mods I have use many assets and their file size is smaller than the size of these Warfare mods. If I disable this mod my game will run flawlessly for days. Can't even play online with friends when this is enabled. Let alone play a stable single player game. Currently crashing every time I hit start game. Longest I've been able to play is 148 turns before it began crashing every turn and I didn't even make it much into the industrial era yet. I just want the dang units, or even just a retexture of them. I only play this game for Domination victories, that's literally it. The biggest lack in any civ game is the pathetic amount of military units and they are also hideous and unrealistic. I really wish I could use this mod but here I am, gutting the game to get nowhere.

@{KernalGrimm} My issue comes from all the modded textures bugging out, which causes a normal texture issue of them phasing into and out of reality whilst very stretched out

I managed to get it to work after following the directions you had above, however im getting major texture issues, it seems to look "better" if you mess around with the shadows options, it allows you to see more of the map rather than a black blob. I have pictures in case you need it.
@Op_Stal and i may be having the same issue, @KrumStrashni, please let me know if you need anything for troubleshooting.

@KrumStrashni May be a one time bug, although the save is entirely buggered.
I'm using it with R.E.D Total War Modpack Unified
and a Mod that allows units to be stacked on top of one another

Would either of these potentially cause issues?
Outside of that I am only using mods that effect districts / map generation mods, which as far as I'm aware shouldn't conflict.

If you're curious about what it actually looks like, I can send you a screenshot, the textures added by the mod cover about 50% of the screen as they're stretched out of proportion (common texture bug with missing/bugged textures), however their weapons and heads remain unaffected, which I would assume are vanilla assets.

I'm able to start a game and the mod works perfectly, but upon loading the save of said game all of the new textures bug out, is there a way to fix this?

@Fina I can run it without any personas or scenarios and any other graphic-related mods. Removing larger DLC like Babylon or Persia/Macedon can help.

Firstly, I haven't played Civ 6 in awhile, nor do I go to every mod I have to constantly read the page for possible updates. I go to play, it doesn't work, I narrow down the issue to this mod, and then I check the page.

Second, I'm not trying to play an old save, so why would backing up an old version matter?

Third, I'm not the only one reporting this as an issue. Pretty much every comment since the update is reporting the same issue.

@KingSnitch and I can confirm that I can start games and other people that work with me can confirm that they start games and even finish them. I gave a warning in advance so people back up their older mod versions from the Steam folders for local play.

yeah im also having problems with the mod running, and its the only one i put as enabled and tested all map sizes and different leaders, not sure whats wrong.

Hey @KrumStrashni, great Mod, I love playing it. Sadly I can't start games on maps lager than small since the last update (yes, I prevet the asset load of leader animations). Is it possible for you to provide the previous mod version (where it worked fine) for download? I would really love to continue playing with this mod :)

With this mod enabled doesn't matter if its dx11 or dx12, I can't create a new game since the update. Disable the this mod and civ 6 works just fine.

@KrumStrashni Thank you the units look great and when you disable the leader animations the mod runs fine without any problems every time!

Would it be possible to have a trimmed down version of the mod in the future where there is just the units in the game re modelled? I prefer the more simplistic combat and in my experience the AI doesn't know what to do with the additional units. Thank you for all your hard work on the mod anyway.

The industrial era transformation has been completed and the mod is ready for upload. I will do it on Tue 14 Jan around 13:00 CET.

The update may impact savegames and performance for some users. So, please backup the existing mod version for local use (you can find it in the Steam workshop folders)

On Monday I lost my single player save due to an update to BBG 6.2. So I started a new game without it. Now my new single player save is broken because of this mod update. I cannot start a new game with this mod enabled but it works fine when it is disabled. Please test your updates before releasing them, or allow for previous versions to be used instead so our saves are not broken.
