Report a translation problem
If you are using Windhawk or a similar system patcher utility, you need to add your local Cities Skylines folder AND your Steam games folder to its exclusion list if it has one. In Windhawk it's Settings -> Advanced Settings -> More Advanced Settings.
My exclusion list looks like this but yours will probably differ:
C:\Users\MY-USERNAME\AppData\Local\Programs\Paradox Interactive\launcher-v2.2025.4\*
S:\Games\steamapps\*
@Sydney6799 for some yes, for others not. It's not clear what is wrong. I don't have MacOS machine to test anything.

Upon testing, the only subscribed and enabled mods are harmony and skyve, I tried deleting PatchLoader.Config.xml in setup folder and the fps booster gave me a fail to patch error, and the config regenerated. The next time I launch game there is no error, but new game button not clickable.
output_log seems fine. Any ideas what might have gone wrong?
It doesn't make sense the game cannot go further but knowing Steam and issues with servers from the past, some mod files could be left after you unsubscribe mods.
From the log you posted I clearly see it was loading stuff, but for some reason didn't end (unless you alt+F4 the game before seeing intro/menu stcreen)
By loading game you mean to the main menu or loading savegame? If it's a problem with loading savegame, then it's not what you did - the game didn't start loading anything other than mods, so looks like it shown the main menu screen at best otherwise the log would have some info which savegame you selected to begin loading.
Can you at least post link to output_log.txt after session where it failed?
How many times I need to repeat that this mod is only processing patches provided by other mods?
So in your case game might be working because the mod that is using Path Loader is not working correctly or one of provided patches is bugged.
