Hi @Horschdt This mod has been very kindly adopted by Zaljerem linked below and its updated to v 1.5. Their version also doesn't have Star Trek Races as a dependency but will integrate with it if present. Star Trek Races doesn't look to have been updated to 1.5 and the error you are describing are probably to do with that mod.

Is the mod still cared for? The new expansion broke some races/ items to the point where some layers become invisible whenever a star trek race enters the screen. Pawns and items no longer render but when you scroll away from the pawns it gets rendered again.

A shame its abandoned, I still think this is one of the best Trek mods out there.
I will hope someone will pick it up again one day

If you can give me a brief rundown of what's needed in terms of maintainance & upkeep I can give it a go. Currently the most I've done is assist in creative work for MC & now Bannerlord LoTR mods, but I'm happy to have a crack at it.

Hi @GoldenRobot, This mod isnt support anymore and is up for adoption to anyone that wants to take over. As for the ships and logistic numbers being wrong, this mod never made any changes to the SRTS ship mod, except to reskin their ships. You've either ran into a bug due to this mod being for v1.1 or you need to flag it to the SRTS team. Thanks

the fuel/distance & tonnage payload is waay outta whack on this mod, numbers are way too low, making the ships effectively unusable.

Thanks very much, I'm currently playing with the Outpost 21 Star Trek (beta) mod, which is waaayyy more polished than mine. But i've been toying with ideas how I can integrate it into that mod. I'm just a little reluctant to have to redo the uniforms as they took ages, and the weapon balance was never great.

Not at the moment, not played Rimworld for a while. I'm not sure what the 1.2 patch has done to the game so it might work. No one has reported any bugs in 1.2, but nor have they confirmed it works. I think that If I have the confirmation I will update it to have the 1.2 flag, and who knows. If that gets me playing again, I might update it. Really like those uniforms from The Lower Decks.

I was working on a standalone version, but stopped when it was patched. I've got some RW stuff on at the moment that takes priority, but i'll get it done when i'm able.

Any chance we can get a version of rimtrek working without Star Trek:Races? I would love to use many of the items that come with Rimtrek but unfortunately Star Trek: Races is causing stutters and low fps in combination with other mods :(

CE isn't a mod that I use myself, but reading the description on their mod a dedicated patch is needed for compatibility. As it's not a mod I use myself, Its not something I plan on doing. I'm not playing RimWorld at the moment so am not working on new content right now.

some other buildings would be holodecks for recreation, replicators to make materials and food for massive amounts of energy, a transporter (would probably work like the thing from the beam me up scotty mod), a sheild generator. for defences the tech (since this is tng / voyager based) would probably a few phaser beam cannons, defiant type phaser cannons, quantum torpedos, photon torpedos, transphasic torpedos and a few other ones. this one would probably not be possible but a cloaking device would be a cool addition. later on more shuttles and possibly some attack craft or runabouts and things like that. for sos2 reskins of the ftl drive to a warp core and engines to impulse thrusters would give a full trek theme obiously this stuff would require a lot of modding experence and some of it is covered by other mods.

@firespark84. Some ambitious suggestions there. I'd really like to do some turrets for this mod at some point. What other type of building were you thinking? As for SOS2, I use that mod but am not far enough into my current game to have done much with it. No obvious incompatibilities that I’ve seen so far. Basically if SRTS Expanded works with SOS2 then so does my mod as all I do is replace some textures. I do need to make an environmental suit that works in zero-atmosphere for SOS2. Some of your suggestions are quite ambitious considering my current skill level. I'm also quite reluctant to add too many mod dependencies so I’d need to add any new contend to be stand alone. I’m totally up for stretching myself, one step at a time.

a phaser and photon torpedo building weapon would be cool for sos2 stuff. is this mod compatible with sos2? could be expanded to fill the entire trek tech tree from pulse cannons and spatial torpedos all the way to transphasic torpedos and stuff. also this would be pretty advanced but if the photon torpedos would work like the punisher from rimatomics or the artillery from vanilla security expanded being able to fire onto other map tiles that would be amazing for orbital bombardments.
