Is the Norse portrait dlc active in the game launcher?
And the usual check with HIP, was it installed without the CPR module?

I want to report an issue with norse portraits: Female hairstyles and both children portrait are missing.

Just to confirm, the EMF only (ie; HIP EMF without SWMH) compatibility mod is no longer available? I was hoping to avoid using SWMH due to other incompatibilities down the line.

@Andr I had the same issue as you as I forgot that HIP is installed by its own installer, so what you have to do is

1.- Delete the "Historical Immersion Project" folder found in paradox interactive/crusader kings II/mod folder
2.- Reinstall HIP through its installer
3.- During installation type "n" or "no" when you're asked if you want to install CPR+
4.- Enjoy

The Culture and Portrait Revamp module of HIP should not be installed because there are too many overlapping files.

And the problem is that some characters doesnt have face, the most notable one is the al-abasí caliph

Did you install HIP without CPR? It is not compatable.
Otherwise, please give a clear description of the problem.

Are the missing textures from a missing dlc pack?

there are miss textures, like the caliph's face (im using only HIP and + Cultural names for HIP)

you're a hero for still helping with issues, you should write them in the description to filter out some of the same questions you get

Crashes from BLG may be from missing unit models, using the modular BLG instead of full BLG should avoid them.
The error log in Documents\Paradox Interactive\Crusader Kings II\log\error.log can help finding the cause.

It crashes every time when I select Alexios.

It removes half the left eye from the view

The space around the ear is a lesser problem then having a bald spot on the head. Is there a issue with that headgear?

Do you know what combination of graphic assets this is with? Do you have a screenshot?

Install HIP without CPR, it is not compatible with BLG.

I do have interface/portraits/portraits_levantine_early.gfx in HIP. It's the only problem I have. The game crashes when I select the blank characters.

To be clear, africa and india should be there but as empty provinces.

i've tested everything to see what the issue is (clean install of the game + HIP) and it all comes back to this compatibility patch restoring west africa and india. i obviously only ran this with HIP mini swmh, cultural cities and BLG/CC to the same result. might wanna add that i had the same result when separately testing the great works models HIP version

Mini SWMH works for me. It mainly changes history files which BLG doesn't touch.

Only BLG full has the strict requirements. You can check Documents/Paradox Interactive/Crusader Kings II/log/error.log to investigate crashes. Misalignment can be incompatibility with the CPR module.

I crash with these mods enabled, so are you required to own all portraits/units packs? BLG works with HIP if I just enable the regular version, but the Persian mouths are misaligned.

Hey! I have a problem with the game crashing when I turn on this mod. Removed CPR from HIP, Full BLG and Cultural Cities Remix, cleared the logs, nothing works. Please help, I really want to play for King Arthur with a beautiful face)

Do you have interface/portraits/portraits_levantine_early.gfx in the HIP installation?

Having the same issue as Adrianos, Levantine/Arabic faces appear invisible but the clothes and sometimes eyes are still visible, I did go through the installation for HIP and made sure CPR+ was disabled so I'm not sure what's causing it.

The submod versions you can extract manually from Better Looking Garbs has one for EMF.

Is SWMH really needed? Can I go without it?

Did you skip CPR installation in HIP? It is not compatible.

I'm having a bug where levantine portraits seem to be blank sometimes and children are having adult portraits. It wasn't happening before, so I'm not sure what changed. I'm running all the latest versions of Ck2, Hip, and BLG/CC.

That's is all correct. BLG HIP is the merged version of BLG EMF+SWMH and can replace both.

Well, I was just reinstalling and clearing up my various mods and stumbled upon this upload.
My previous setup was:

1) Full HIP (minus CPR of course).
2) Full BLG
3) Cultural Cities Remix
4) BLG / CC for EMF
5) BLG / CC for SWMH (since both were applicable according to the .txt installation description).

So I got a bit confused, should I delete the older compatches and from now on use only this mod with full HIP-full BLG and Cultural Cities?
