This mod won't be all that necessary once someone finds the necessary XML edit to enable tending for downed neutral, allied and enemy pawns (enemy pawns might be vanilla, actually)

please
Ulas Mar 12 @ 2:13am
can someone please update / revive this mod?
Fiur Feb 18 @ 7:01pm
Yeah Stabilize is not working for me. Not sure why.
Banana Feb 17 @ 6:59am

After moving Rimworld to another Drive - this red message popped up:

Could not find a type named Stabilize.JobDriver_StabilizeHere

And I think this one too:

ReflectionTypeLoadException getting types in assembly Stabilize: System.Reflection.ReflectionTypeLoadException: Exception of type 'System.Reflection.ReflectionTypeLoadException' was thrown.

Didn't have it before I moved drives. (Wanted rimworld saves gone from my main Drive)

Подождите, вы пытаетесь остановить кровотечение в -73 градуса! Может всё таки стоит отнести его на койку??
Victor Sep 20, 2024 @ 11:03pm
Stabilizing doesn't stop downed pawns from crawling away, unlike 'tending without medicine' from the base game, could you add that funcionality?
Rukka Aug 26, 2024 @ 9:48pm
Having a problem with a potential mod conflict. Is it possible that this mod can cause the immortal enemy bug, where people refuse to die even with a thousand gunshot wounds?
Chesse5552024 Jul 24, 2024 @ 8:41pm
What the diferrent between first aid.
Koor Jul 16, 2024 @ 1:29pm
Unfortunately, this isn't doing what I need it to. I've got a save with a potential prisoner that has high stats. The target has 2 hours left to live, but they just keep crawling away while i'm trying to stabilize them. Nothing I can do without hitting them again. It would be useful if the stabilize command would pen the crawler in place.
Futstub Jun 22, 2024 @ 11:16am
What's the difference between tending and stabilizing?
Because can't you just tend to them in the field?

Love this mod! Wish it made a 'stabilize & rescue' (in that order) work type to the left of 'Doctor', and I also wish they stopped the 'Stabilize' once the bleeding was stopped--I don't think stabilizing bruises accomplishes much.
Jeffery Helldiver May 21, 2024 @ 3:13am
Pretty sure you can draft someone and they can tend to someone on the spot in the base game.
Auklin May 7, 2024 @ 4:01am
honestly boss did you consider making it so this mod ONLY stabilizes bleeds? would make it a considerably cut above base, given I'd like to tell my doctors to JUST stabilize/stop bleeds and move on to the next in queue instead of micromanaging everyone.
Linkolas  [author] Apr 16, 2024 @ 6:50pm
@BPolice: Been playing since the update with many mods, and no issue with Stabilize. make sure Harmony & HugsLib are enabled before Stabilize in the load order.
Butthole Police Apr 16, 2024 @ 6:41pm
This is not working for me now. The option just completely dissapeared
Monkey Magic Apr 8, 2024 @ 10:10am
@Chord TBF, I'm pretty sure drafted tending has only been in the game since 1.3 something or other (I recall it not being an option in 1.2) and this mod has been around since before then. That said, drafted tending only works for one's own pawns. I assume this mod applies to other pawns too
Terry, your neighbor Apr 7, 2024 @ 9:43pm
this has existed in the base game for a long time lol. you just had to draft them
Proxyer Apr 6, 2024 @ 11:03am
Thank you update!

@Atori625
Steam cliant is slow starter. restart steam, or play rimworld and exit, and a few min wait. So start download update.
Atori625 Apr 6, 2024 @ 10:49am
don't know why but still after downloading it's only for 1.4 version :/
Linkolas  [author] Apr 6, 2024 @ 9:07am
Hello! Just updated the mod so it works on v1.5. Only did a quick test, let me know if I missed something :praisesun:
Stellar Harbour Mar 23, 2024 @ 6:54pm
You still have to draft pawn which adds another layer of micromanagement
mxdanger Mar 23, 2024 @ 7:56am
@Stellar Harbour

Pastebin "TBgjtCAk" for anyone wondering.

That being said 1.4 added the features of this mod. There is no reason for this mod to be updated for 1.5.
Stellar Harbour Mar 23, 2024 @ 1:09am
Requires 1.5 update

Great mod, much appreciated!
Russo Nov 23, 2023 @ 3:33am
the "doctor" always has medicine in his inventory, 11 to be exact. Maybe it's some incompatibility with CE?
Russo Nov 23, 2023 @ 3:32am
I'm having problems with the mod, when I click on stabilize the "doctor" doesn't do anything. if the "doctor" is drafted he leaves... sad
DiogenesOfMiami Sep 27, 2023 @ 3:55pm
You always know a mod is essential when it's made Vanilla by the dev(s).

If you play 1.3 or earlier, you simply have to have this mod. For 1.4 and beyond, it is no longer necessary.
Sossololpipi May 27, 2023 @ 11:43pm
isn't this useless ever since you can tend to colonists when drafted
Maple38 Apr 22, 2023 @ 5:35pm
Safe to remove mid-game?
Kylo99 Apr 8, 2023 @ 1:56pm
Does using this on enemy pawns before you capture confuse the game into thinking theyre being doctored and bug recruiting?
Artjomski Mar 17, 2023 @ 4:35pm
is this a colonist job? or do you manually have to right click and stabilize still?
Xenos Feb 21, 2023 @ 8:56pm
You actually can do this already. You just have to draft the medic you want to use, and they can only use medicine they have in their inventory, from the "assign" menu. I have most of my colonists carrying some spare medicine, for exactly this reason.
Stellar Harbour Dec 8, 2022 @ 6:02pm
Now I see how anoying it is lol
pepemattos17 Dec 7, 2022 @ 10:21pm
@Sego only when drafted, and its anoying to undraft a pawn try to get them to tend to a emegency, and them having to draft again. So I think this has become more of a quality of life mod.
Stellar Harbour Dec 7, 2022 @ 4:58pm
Ins't it vanilla thing now?

Crimson Oct 31, 2022 @ 10:42am
@mxdanger I didn't know this was added to base game, thanks for the headsup
mxdanger Oct 30, 2022 @ 7:43pm
I'm still confused as to why this mod was updated to 1.4 since that update replaces the need for this mod. It's probably best to downgrade this mod to 1.3 since having two options that do exactly the same thing doesn't make much sense and it may confuse people who continue to use this mod (because it says 1.4) without realizing the feature has been added to the base game.

...yeah it sounds weird saying a mod should be downgraded.
Itharus Oct 29, 2022 @ 12:52am
Indeed. One of the firsts I used, and always had it in use since.
mxdanger Oct 28, 2022 @ 11:48pm
This mod is no longer needed. It served me well.

Itharus Oct 27, 2022 @ 7:39pm
Tending while drafted seems to do it right on the spot without a bed -- period, medicine or not, now. So... it does look like this mod has basically been folded into the base game at this point.
FuchsiaDaddy Oct 27, 2022 @ 6:45pm
@Boudiica

In my experience with the update, when drafted the “Tend (without medicine)” option tends to them then and there. Also if the character tending carries medicine, there is an option "Tend" which also does not carry them to the bed
Skeesh Oct 23, 2022 @ 9:22pm
I haven't played 1.4 for now, only launched the game to make sure the mod works but the patch notes says: "Added an explicit “tend (without medicine)” option to drafted pawns which appears after the tend with medicine order."

Can other people confirm it does the same as this mod here? It mentions "no medicine", but doesn't say anything about needing to transport to a bed.

You don't need to transport to a bed, they do it on the ground
Dust Oct 23, 2022 @ 12:03am
Thank you for the mod! It has been pawnsaving for all the updates before.
Linkolas  [author] Oct 22, 2022 @ 9:11pm
Wow, you may be right @Dust!
