I know in my head that it has only been flipped but somehow it feels so much more open and airy. Maybe it's what Dust II needs, a change in perspective.

Thanks for the tip. That's pretty close to what I had. I'll see if -LargeDispSampleRadius and -dispchop 4 help.

You have problems with shadows. Try using these compilation options for vrad:
-mpi -hdr -noextra -staticpropbounce 3 -aoscale 1.5 -LargeDispSampleRadius -dispchop 4 -textureshadows -staticproppolys -StaticPropLighting -final
These parameters can be found in this file: csgo\scripts\mapautocompile.txt
