You have problems with shadows. Try using these compilation options for vrad:
-mpi -hdr -noextra -staticpropbounce 3 -aoscale 1.5 -LargeDispSampleRadius -dispchop 4 -textureshadows -staticproppolys -StaticPropLighting -final
