@Amroth Sorry, what i meant by my previous message was did someone actually tried this mod with psychology. The description seemed to imply that the mod creator assumed that it would be incompatible with psychology, because of overlapping game mechanics, but the underlying issue of pawns getting rebuffed 4x a day is something that psychology did nothing to fix. I would even say that because of the whole personality mechanics makes it way worse.

I don't like the psychopath changes that much, it's accurate to the in game descriptions but psychopaths just lack empathy. They can care about people, they just don't understand how they are guilty when killing, butchering and eating the visitor who was carrying 1 component and was passing by the colony.

@Daw heart what is it to you what machine another runs? The internet is a big and diverse place where people from low income nations meet up with the richist people.Not everyone may have been born with a golden spoon in his arse or have accomplished much in life to afford the lattest hardware all the time. Additionally there are games out there even a decade old which just due to their inner workings are extrodanary ressource hungry or say scalable.

The issue with a lot of the 'de-stupidify everyone' mods is they tend to tank performance in the long run, especially for lower end systems. Rimworld tends to be very easy on the graphics side, but it eats a lot of CPU power, and making pawn relations and interactions more complex uses even more.

Could the enhanced relations and interactions be less impactful if added in an official update? Sure, but not by a lot. I think what they've been doing so far by adding new systems (ideologies, genetics, mechanoids, etc) to the game and letting the modding community flesh them out is working quite well.

@AugustTheTitan The only viable option would be a gui for each race. Because there is a lot of races where the ”adult” life stafe is not the last life stage either. So an ”adult” 10 year old pawn could romance a human child for example.
The third option goes against the reason why Im doing these updates, making them available to those who still uses them.
Ill add it to the todo-list

That shouldn't be a problem (or at least there are several solutions).

1. Make it configurable in mod settings which races/xenotypes it applies to (never made a mod, so this might be complicated)
2. Make it based off a percentage of each pawns' age def, not just a hard number
3. Ignore it and just appeal to the people who play without Biotech, HAR, etc.

Just some thoughts. I really admire how many frickin mods you've resurrected. Before looking at the list, I didn't know there were this many mods TO resurrect. XD

@AugustTheTitan The trouble with that is that there are a lot of added races with ages ranging from just a few years until adult to those that can get thousands of years old.

I don't know if you add features to resurrected mods, but it would be awesome to keep pawns with a 30 year age difference from courting.
Adding a calculation that takes into account the pawns' ages would be a great feature.

If this works, it ought to be added to the essential mods list. I just had a colonist pop up as a major break risk and I looked at his needs to find out why. Turned out he had been rebuffed by a married colonist 45 times. Yes, 45 TIMES. I have a fading memories mod, so that means she rebuffed him 45 times RECENTLY.

At that point, I knew I needed a mod to fix this.

I want to confirm the remark of some people, said earlier: it is impossible for bisexuals to get married. Whether the partner is straight, homo, or another bi, one side will always say no.

This mod does not seem to be compatible with 'everyone is queer'. I had a colonist hit on 5 separate married individuals in the same combat.

I have a suspicion that this isn't working, I have a 9- pawn colony that's been going for 10 years and no-one has started a romance (using both DLCs).

Got a question. Is this mod ready for 1.3? Says it keeps pawns with +25 opinion to their lover from hitting on other pawns. What if it's a polygamous colony? Is it still going to keep pawns from looking for other husbands/wives? Do you have to wait for another pawn to hit on them? Much thought.

@Blaze I can 100% back up that problem. I played with prepare carefully, had one pawn set as a lesbian, the other was a bi girl, and started them off as lovers, they were happy together until the lesbian proposed, which the bi girl rejected, twice, causing them to break up. I suspect that the "ideal gender" functions of the mod break when bisexuality is involved, since they technically don't have an ideal.

Long as it's a rare idiot though. The entire colony definitely shouldn't behave like a bothered teen.

..yeah I'm mostly joking... ...although...

... now that I think about it, a rare trait that allows such a flirtatious behavior (though to a somewhat limited extent) would probably make for a decent minor submod.

Thanks for this mod. I could only stand playing vanilla 1.3 for a few hours before some idiot drove himself insane constantly hitting on people.
However, I have a suggestion now that Ideology is released.
"One cannot perform or targeted by romance attempt if they have +25 or greater opinion to their current lover." Now that pawns can be polyamorous or have multiple spouses, can we disable this part of the mod and just have their cultural values regarding multiple relationships handle it?

I have a sneaking suspicion that this mod does not work correctly with Individuality. I have a colony almost entirely made of bisexual women. There have been many proposals, all of which have been rejected, including between pawns with maximum opinion of each other, sometimes even causing them to break up.
I am going to try playing without this mod for a while and see if behaviour improves. I would appreciate if anyone can back up or rule out my suspicion.

Can I suggest increasing that +25 to +50? I had a colonist get engaged to a refugee very early in the game, and once that refugee left, he never had another romance for the rest of the game, because his opinion of her never fell below 43. He couldn't make overtures to others, and nobody flirted with him, and I just realized it was because I had this mod installed! Just a thought.
