For the most part this is working pretty well for me. I have the profit override set so they will sell the wares for any price. But the issue Im having is sometime the mules are queuing up trades to unknown stations. And because the path to them is also unknown the mules just sit outside my station unaware how to get to these unknown stations. Any idea how to either fix this or prevent it from happening?

I'm currently using this mod for Station Mules to create dedicated supply lines, a feature which I absolutely love. Sadly, it doesn't seem to work, my dedicated Station Mules pick up goods that the station they're assigned to, isn't buying. Instead they're dropping it off at build storages.

I have a large industry set up in Boron space in Rolk's Demise, and all my Station Mules are in a traffic jam waiting to sell their goods to the build storage of the shipyard I've started constructing there, ruining the flow of the stations they are supposed to work for.

Anyone else suffering this and/or happens to know a solution?

N.B. They are *Station* (M2) Mules, not *Supply* (M3) Mules, but they seem to be behaving like they are.

used this great mod for years. Came back to X4 after a while and the game had regular freezes, making first person dogfights unplayable. Turns out it was this mod causing the freezes, so I had to disable it

Thank you so much for updating this!!! This has been one of my favorite QoL mods for a looong time and I have been pretty bummed out trying to get through without it on my most recent play through. Again thank you so much for the update!

sorry to comment again so soon, but i just wanted to add that this makes it difficult to use large traders as suppliers because almost no stations can supply their storage in a single trade

hey, im not able to adjust the max trades option on my supply mules. it seems like it would be useful but i is locked at 1/1. i saw it detailed on your github so this strikes me as odd. am i doing something wrong?

is it possible to make Mules receive landing orders from Reactive Docking mod, when tied to a ship? so that they wouldn't stay in space if not trading?
Or ability to assign Supply Mule to entire fleet instead of just 1 ship? Otherwise it starts to supply stations, when fleet no longer needs supplies.

@Galactus Dist Mules can have multiple Targets so just add all your stations that you want to distribute to the Targets and it should work without doing anything else. You might get some "backwash" to the main warehouse if it gets somewhat empty but this is the functionality that I want. If you don't want "backwash" then I guess you'd just add the Main Warehouse to "source" and the 2nd Warehouse to Target. Good luck.

@fatbasementdweller So do both stations already need to be a warehouse for the Dist mule to work? I am not wanting my second station to be supplied by any factory, only my first warehouse

@Galactus Dist mules are for ferrying stuff between warehouses so no warehouse is ever empty. If you want to fill a warehouse from other sources like factories, use supply or station mules.

So how does the distribution mule work? I set up a station as a new warehouse and then set up my mule with my first warehouse as the source and the new station as a target but nothing happens. How do i make this new station into a warehouse? Do I need to have a station mule supplying it first? I don't have any production stations near here, all near my source warehouse. I am just trying to get resources closer to where I am trying to trade.

Put out a patch today that potentially fixes the following
- Supply Mules ignoring Blacklists
- Supply mule not trading if trade restriction exists.
- If only AI should trade, Mules don't override.
- Improper evaluation of default mule orders (prevented orders from being evaluated correctly)

I think the Mules are some what broken in Avarice systems. When a system wide flee command is issued due to incoming tide, the ships register this command correctly, you can see 'Flee' as high priority command under the behaviour tab as well as the fleeing icon is displayed next to the ship, but the ships does not flee. They just stop dead in their track. I haven't a ship yet i just noticed this. I had to manually intervene. Not sure if the tide would have destroyed the ship.

Will this work even without owning a station for trading? Tried this without and traders seems to be doing nothing even if I assign to an AI station.

I love this mod, but had to disable it. The reason is the huge impact it has on performance. It was creating hickups in my game almost every second. Is there anyway to distribute the load of calculations so, all of the calculation wouldn't happen at the same time? this might help distribute the processing load and decrease the hiccup change. If the calculation of the trades are done when one is ended, it should more or less end up distributed, but it doesn't seem to be happening.

For supply mule, what's the max distance that the mule can travel? I noticeed that he never goes to a warehouse that's 7 jumps away.

Yeah I dunno what's going on with that. But I solved it by building my own solar farm. It only worked when it was JUST a solar farm exporting to other factories.

Hi there, I have a really annoying problem regarding energy cell supply. Situation is as follows: 3 factories & 1 warehouse in a system. The warehouse gets energy cells from out of system, no issues here. Only 1 of the 3 factories gets supplied with energy cells from the warehouse by its mules. I tried every setup I could imagine nothing works, all stations are setup the same way but only 1 will be supplied with energy cells. Any tips?

@Hebrux try reducing the max gate distances this has a huge impact on the performance, and maybe more L Trader and less M Traders often helps too

The log filling is normal, when you advacne in the game it gets worse with everything, but you can use the filter function.

Love this Mod been using original for ever. If you do decide to update it could you make some type of switch to turn off the Log Entries. Once you get several station mules going the spam about adding trade wares fills log so fast I can't read anything else. Thanks for your hard work.

Works find for me. Not sure why the need for an update, not that one wouldn't be nice. Also, is it just me, or does the station supply mule supply all your stations regardless of sector/location? The description above says it only supplies stations in a single sector, but that hasn't been the case for me, not that I am complaining at all.

Adding to my previous woes, I tried updating to this mod again over the original 2020 version and now I've realized the Max Trades on Supply Mules is maxed at 1. I'll try to suffer through this and try it out longer but that's a HUGE detriment. Especially when it comes to L-size transports ferrying building supplies across the verse or even M-size transports topping off shipyards.

Some tips following the last comments in previous pages:
-Travel Mule seems to be somewhat bugged, works randomly, and can't confirm anything it just gets stuck.
-Avoid distributing mule, its bugged and old code - doesn't work continuously for me
- Station mule gets stuck after first trade, best results are picking "make warehouse" but will still get stuck eventually
-The mod is almost completely broken for beta 7, mules don't work properly and get stuck a lot, like they complete the first trade order and stop when other mules with the same orders work just fine
-Supply mule seems to work fine if you don't assign them to a station, otherwise 70%-80% of the time, they get stuck - Still, supply mule seems to be the one that works the best

This is just some FYI, of course nobody expects a mod to work on beta, just for others to be aware!

This mod works for me but the only issue is that ships keep parking in avarice and thus getting obliterated by the tides. Every other ai behaviour correctly flees the system before tide.
