This is a fantastic mod very good utility, some of the text descriptions sadly are kind of silly like the scaffold tile and flooring silly with that and some of the archo columns ANIMATIONS SPAM crazy SOMETIMES however hahah and "Recommanded mods" it's recommendation for recommended hahahaha sometimes CRAZY with that going on and hahaha however thanks for a great mod cheers :D

I wish there was a column that combined the frozen and orbital trade beacon. That would be really helpful.

초월기둥이 수류탄처럼 투척판정이라 원하는곳에 세울확률이 너무 낮습니다.. 이 때문에 건설하는데 지장이 꽤크네요.

예전엔 단순히 설치해서 할 수 있었던것같은데 어느순간붙터 투척으로 바뀌여서 기존으로 돌아갔으면 하는 바람이있습니다.

Flame column doesn't seem to work with combat extended. I can see it targeting enemies, but no fire appears. Anyone knows a solution for this problem?

@blackrave - probably intended as i do not think this mod had royalty in mind in the beginning. however, i suspect that the xml could be patched to use the columns to satisfy the throne room requirement.

Crystal light column doesn't fullfil throne room column requirment.
Is it intended or an oversight?
Because fancy light column absolutely should be good enough for royalty

Hello! I'm passing this message that I got on the Rimworld discord, You have a patch for OskarPotocki.VanillaExpanded.RoyaltyPatches However, the patch is no longer valid since the mod was deprecated in 1.5 All the relevant patches were placed in their respective mods.

Would be great is Sun Column would allow setting target temperature
While it works nicely for vanilla plants, some modded plants require various temperature ranges to grow optimally.
Main issue is with plants that need under 30C to grow well
If plant needs more than 30C I can always add heater, but if it's lower than that, cooler will be constantly fighting Sun Column and that's suboptimal (and frankly shouldn't even be necessary)

I think a heater column would be a nice addition for this mod, currently the closest thing you could do is a sun column but that takes a ton of energy

Update: They can, but it seems that you have to build a secondary column first to trick it into thinking it's stable. Then you can delete the second column and the orbital trade column will hold up the roof as intended.

The orbital trade column doesn't actually appear capable of holding up the roof of the room it's in. Source: The roof just crushed my trade column. 10/10.

ARCHO COLUMNS ARE STILL BUILDABLE.

When you have the archo cube, a colonist will pick it up and carry it around. There will be an option on their action-bar to deploy it like you would for a psycast, foam-pack, portable turret, etc...

Is there a setting I have to turn on to make the defense columns actually do anything? I've tried using them several times and they just sit there when enemies walk past, sometimes standing right next to them. They just consume power. Do I need to put ammo in them? or an ammo crate next to them? Cause so far they've done nothing but look cool. I haven't tried any of the other types.

i noticed the pillars dont trigger when escaped prisoners walk by them. i was hoping to use the stun ones to keep the prisoners in line! lol

Iv noticed you can’t rotate the sacred columns don’t know if that’s intended or not was trying to make a mausoleum for my pawns but would be kinda awkward making them and the get put into one facing a wall lol

This mod has a slight incompatibility with Vanilla Expanded Framework as the columns do not support Royalty Column Room Requirements when you have Vanilla Expanded Framework in your modlist.

I think the archo cube needs to be nerfed quite a bit. It creating (8) anima trees is a bit much.

I find the reason why sometimes this mod’s columns meet DLC room requirements and sometimes they don’t. Utility columns don’t meet room requirements if you have Vanilla Expanded Framework active in your mod list.

The problem has something to do with a XML patch in VEF that changes the room requirements to be ThingAnyOfCount instead of ThingCount. I made a local XML patch that fixes the incompatibility by adding all utility columns to room req (inspired by Onimods Column Light’s implementation).

I'm having an issue where my sun columns still take up their full 3500W at night, when they are off for the rest period. Has anybody else experienced this? Any ideas?

Request: if possible, please make it so the Sun Column also lights up the area to 50% at night. That way pawns could work at the fields/hydroponics at night without getting the darkness debuff or needing extra lights.

Recently, I tried using a "Crystal light column" to spice up my throne room. After installing them, I notice that they failed to meet the throne room's column requirements. I'm uncertain if this discrepancy is due to a bug within the mod itself, or perhaps arises from an incompatibility issue with another mod. Alternatively, it may be an oversight, as the mod description states, "Supports Royalty Column Room Requirements!"

Honestly, not a fan of the archo column change. Sure it's cool to just take a cube and throw it down, but when I'm not expecting a 3x3 structure to plop out and delete any structures nearby, or even know the range of the area it affects when placing it, it's kind of a pain. Especially since it's the only column that's not a 1x1. And as fun as it is to just plop down having to have a colonist go drop whatever equipment they have on just to go equip this to build a permanent structure doesn't flow very well. My thoughts would be that if you just want it to build out of a single cube, just make the construction requirements a single cube. But it's your mod, do what you want with it, I'm just a guy who enjoys this mod and thought I'd give my two cents. ;)

@NEPH just realised that this mod also adds new floor types that look kinda similiar to factory floor from VE Mechanoids would it be possible to make it so they would affect pawn movement speed on them like in Mechanoids? Stripped yellow one slows movement to 72% and gray one speeds to 108%. I was using VE mechanoids just to get this floor so I could switch to only this then

I really like the idea but some of them are kinda too strong for me any chance you could realease "Basic" version of this with only Orbital trader Column, sun Column, lights Columns and maybe sacred Column

For this reason I don't like the workshop. She doesn't ask "update now or postpone", she updates and it can break everything. I manually copy modifications into RimWorld\Mods and update them only manually.

Thank you, that solved the problem. For those that run into the same problem: "Destroy" and "Spawn Thing -> ComponentArchoDrone" are what you are looking for in the debug actions.
