The amount of people that would defend anything BUT religion is staggering.

I'm not exactly aligned with religious way of thinking myself, the core of their beliefs has flaws I could talk about for days, but the kind of crap you see when people are justifying their hatred for religion … it's so bad that it doesn't even deserve discussing. And when you take a good look at religious people as a group and atheists as a group... Well, the former might not be too bright intellectually, but the later is too freaking “gray” (read:dirty) morally.

Look, commenters, if you're so angry that not every living being is Christian, create a mod instead of whining on this one. This modder didn't want random colonists to be ambiguously religious, so he modded it to his preference instead of complaining. Make a mod of your own, add a whole system of religion if you want to. Only about half of your colonists will pray anyways, which would anger you if you noticed.

Unless someone makes a mod that makes religion interesting and fun mechanic or story element, I don't want to learn that all my pawns are presumably praying to some undefined deity of some undefined religion. To me that is shallow and lame, I'd rather have no religiosity than this generic recurring singular instance of it.
