Updated for 1.6, only small changes needed.

for some reason I can't seem to hit the goblins from raids in melee combat, probably some kind of mod conflict, but my modlist is way to long to isolate... not sure whats going on, but its definetly messing with my knight playthrough.

kind of sucks that this doesn't really capture the idea of goblins rapidly reproducing. Really needs fertile and fast aging

love the biotech compatibilty, now I can use the ears without the ugly mug "don't get me wrong goblins are cool." It's just I always felt the ears would look tremendous on other pawns or even custom made genelines.

They must've, I haven't had issues with your goblin mod before. unfortunately the kid didn't make it on my commitment mode game. Interesting enough, the father was a dark elf from Fantasy of The Rim {LINK REMOVED} which also adds goblins but don't look like yours.

which caused explode on death so I can't resurrect them unfortunately.

I also use Children, school and learning {LINK REMOVED} which makes them actually a baby so maybe it interfered?

Wish I could go back and check in-game. I can see if I can recreate it, if you're interested.

Weird. Does the baby have the goblin head gene or does it have the head without the gene?

Two pawns from different xenotypes from unrelated mods had a baby and their kid's face is one of these goblins. I laughed pretty hard, but I wonder if anyone knows how that happened lmao.

Hey im using RJW with SAR bodies (ik judge me) and I am having trouble with this mod. I swapped the faces for the goblins to vanilla and the private bits are now all colored pure white. It could be my jury rigging fix for the heads, but any help would be awesome. Im thinking either fixing just whatever color the SAR is using for its own color or just a different version without the scary goblin face. TY!

found it! But it isn't the Goblins. Weirdly it stopped throwing the exception when I removed the Goblins but that aside. The problem was Anthro Races, that's what I get for adding furries to Rimworld lol

you're good lol. I opted to try and get the mod to work by seriously trimming down my mod-list. I appreciate the attempt, I'll run through the whole mod-list again this time instead activating 5 at a time along Goblins until I find the culprit!

okay, so, it's not as egregious as before, it seems pretty tame compared to what it used to be.

After taking a look at my loaded mods....I think it's time I reduced the size of how many mods I have lol. I had a feeling about what you said, my suspicion is that it could be one of the trait mods I use but I could be mistaken horribly. I appreciate your help greatly.

Hey Grizzly, that sounds like a conflict between this mod and one of your other mods.

I did some googling and discovered that the error message you shared relates to the beauty spectrum trait. By default, it has values -2, -1, 1 and 2, where the lowest is staggeringly ugly and the highest is beautiful. Your error message seems to suggest that somehow, a pawn was generated with value 0 for the beauty trait, which isn't known.

I can tell you that's not something this mod does. The goblin xenotypes do have the Ugly gene, so if you have another mod that changes how the beauty spectrum trait works, that is the likely mod that conflicts with this one.

I'd be willing to take a look if you can send me a link to the full error message and a link to your modlist. I might be able to fix this for you.

So I have a massive mod-list I can try and give you my logs for the game, but it seems that there's a bug that spams "Beauty found no data at degree 0, returning first defined." every single tick. I've disabled and enabled all of my mods until it vanished and once I removed this mod, it stopped spamming. It's super easy for me to recreate so if you feel that you'd benefit from it I'd be glad to provide a link. As for now, I have to sadly disable this and give up my gobbo tribes.

Hey @Glorious Magnificent Ducksu, are you still on 1.2? I removed support for 1.1 and 1.2 with the last update because I didn't think anyone was still using those and supporting 5 versions meant the mod was almost half a GB large. I'll re-add them.

tfw youve been using this mod since 2021 and now it no longer works with your version and the original mod version doesn't seem to have the proper references to the backstories so now everythings just fucked. Rimworld is my one argument to having the ability to freeze mod updates

HAR compatibility is now also fixed, at least for the current HAR dev mod.

No idea how Anomaly will impact the goblins yet. There might be some visual bugs when goblins are zombified or mutated, we'll see when Anomaly comes out.

Hello! Love that you continued this mod for us all, one little request for it; Something about this mod being custom makes the Empire faction permanently hostile to it forever. Any chance to implement some patchwork to correct this?

Hey Vildus, I would like to help you, but I can't reproduce your problem. If I add the goblins to my current modlist, names for generated pawns are still correctly capitalized.

There are custom names for the goblin faction, but these are also capitalized, and shouldn't impact other pawns... Could there be a conflict with another mod?

I do really like this mod and want to continue using it, however I have a little problem. With this mod (tested out to see which one was causing it) all the names generated gets a small capital name in their nickname + surname. So example. "John john smith" instead of "John John Smith", might be a small thing, but it does actually really annoy me, haha. Would this be an easy fix?

I thought maybe the femaleBB mod might cause it, but I download it and the goblins are still working on my PC.

I'd love to help you out, but at this point I don't know where to look. I need to be able to reproduce your issue in order to figure out a potential solution, and you haven't shared your full modlist. If you save your modlist ingame, you can find it in %AppData%\LocalLow\Ludeon Studios\RimWorld by Ludeon Studios\ModLists.

I know it's tedious work, but you can try systematically removing mods until it works, that could help you find the conflict.

Yes, that's pretty much what I have, I still have little things like fishing etc. but nothing that should affect the Goblin body, I also uninstalled and reinstalled it, still Bald Guys

Can you share your loading order? Maybe there's a compatibility issue with another mod.

You could also, as a test, try starting a game with just Harmony, Humanoid Alien Races & Fantasy Goblins Updated. If you still have an issue with just those three mods, you may need to reinstall.

I have Humanoid Alien Race in it, the loading order is correct, but the goblin tribe is just bald humans, but the items and buildings are correct
