@.fishParallel So what happens is Valve provides the keyframed animations and the animation skeleton. We don't need to make the movements themselves, but we do have to manually set up how our models respond to the movements, and which parts of our models are bound to what part of the skeleton. The "gummy physics" you see is the result of different parts of the skirt being manually set up so that it flows with the movements. No actual physics calculations are involved.

@Brood - Oooooh, that's quite a good idea! Maybe like a thigh slit, the sort one would see on straight dresses. That might also work better with the front of 'dusa's tail. Hm.

Unfortunately I find making sweeping changes on submitted items (and they would be sweeping the way I visualise them, since there isn't actually anything under the dress at the moment) doesn't go very well.

I'll seriously consider it for a resubmission or maybe if I decide to use this as part of a set though!

I think this is an awesome idea, but I also think there should be a split down the front somewhere that shows some scales. It hides the model a little much. But the movement, the flow, and the design is gorgeous. I've looked at this many times, I can't help but like it.
