@Limyx826: I think that is just related to how the game handles mods. This mod is safe to activate/deactivate mid game though so no harm in loading a save even with the error present, if its deactivated then the icons should not load. :)

I had noted that in the save file where this mod is used and not enabled, it will show as missing mod in loading screen.

@Captain Nuclear Thanks! They might have some special counters too that conflict and then its all up too load order I believe which counters are used, I've never tried WA myself.

@GL56 It should still be working, but I've not had time to test it myself. I'm working all weekend but I'll get it updated next week. PDX has probably once again hardcoded in some new counters that will look odd in the new Scandinavian trees. Please tell me if you found any that stick out(like skii-troops using armoured counter etc, or worse, a vanilla non nato counter!

Should be in today's update if everything turned out right. I had to reorder them a little so there might be some templates in existing saves that need there counters re-applied(only inverted and below).

Coloured Mech and mountain would be appreciated. Guards mountain divisions did exists iirc.

Great work!
As a suggestion. one thing i really liked for immersion with the MPU edition was colored nato symbols, so you could choose beige for UK, red as soviet and darker as germany (or for elite units)
Is something like this doable?

Theatre icons don't really have to be nato. Just '1st-to-x' for armies (make them colourable), and 'A-to-Z' for army groups. You could add some directionals (north, south, etc) for the army groups.

@captain403 Thanks, I'll have to look into it, I'm not sure its as easy as just replacing graphics, especially since the theater ones are square instead of rectangular and I don't think NATO counters would look good as squares.

Great mod. Getting the AI to use the right ones is something no-one else has been able to do, so excellent work.

@zez;- Yeah I thought so too so I made it a high priority to fix them so I could start playing the new expansion. I managed to get to march 36 without the counters. xD

Thanks for the update and double thanks for the militia counters. Tried a different NATO counter mod a few days ago that had been 'updated' for BBA but the Italian irregular units were using heavy armor symbols. Looking forward to your rework.

Updated for BBA, properly this time(with new counters for the new militia units). Give me a heads up if you spot any AI using weird icons, PDX can have bound more templates to icons in the patch.

I'm currently reworking all the icons, they will look crisper this time around thanks to a new dds conversions script.

Thanks, that was my main issue anyway. It really is sad how Paradox didn't ship (or update) the game with proper NATO counters.

@ixilthicilix Thats weird, because it is most definatley in the mod package and when I download it it does come with. Try unsubbing, going into *\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\394360\2009333583 and removing any content still there and then resubbing (thats where the mod files are downloaded too).

@Alexander Added in todays update, thanks! @TexasJaeger added some artillery variants, you got any pictures of garrison/millita counters, I cant seem to find them. Based most of the ones I have done from wikipedia(excluding the coastal artillery one which is inspired from bice) Thanks for the suggestions!

Thanks for the mod! All the other nato icon mods are currently broken. I would suggest adding icons for garrisons, militia, more artillery variations, and more historical nato templates. Wikipedia would be a good source for these. Thanks again!
