I have materials and doctors. Is there a way to share more info? I looked around in the mod files and i found (out that i'm dumb) no obvious restrictions for races and such and for me it doesn't look like trials don't work only on certain xenotypes.

@Mlie nice I dev resarced the withcher potions and dev spawned them and made my pawn drink all 3 but no effect happend, is it somthing i missing?

does npc pawn have the witcher effect aswell or is it just me who has the witcher trials/effect/senses?

Hello, I had a pawn drink the Trial of Grasses and I cannot see that anything happened. reading the comments it sounds like it should have been administered through surgery - is that correct? Thanks!

Back in 1.0 didn't have Psycasts in RimWorld. So there is no good use for Psychic Sensitivity. But now there is Psycasts so Psychic Sensitivity is actually situational. So is it possible to maybe make a additional version of potion (maybe tybe B elder potion or a 4th step potion to enhance Psychic Sensitivity?) And I believe Geralt z Rivii can cast Magic. Don't see anything about it in game. But, anomaly monsters should definitely take additional damage from silver swords

@Mlie well this is awkward... feels I'm the only one commenting on this mod anymore :p. I've been playing with this mod on a "generations" playthrough. Pawns get old much faster thanks to "faster ageing mod", and I also have "Time Kills mod". Looking through the xml, the witcher trial hediffs have <makeImmuneto> to a bunch of hediffs related to ageing. This seems to no longer work. I have pawns with trial of grasses who get bad back, and pawns with trials of dreams hediffs that get the "old age" hediff from time kills. I don't know why it doesn't work, since the xml is sound afaik. Just thought I'd share my findings. Maybe Biotech changed the way immunity in hediffs work...

@Mlie disregard last post. I was using a local version of the mod in which I made a few edits (stuffable swords, no psychic sensitivity loss with brews, etc). When i swapped the current steam version of the mod for my own edited version, the problem went away. I guess I messed something up somewhere. Thanks for the work you do in this modding community, big fan :)

@Mlie I am having a strange bug, most of this mod works as intended but when I mouse over the hediff (trial of grasses) in health tab, my UI breaks. I'm sure the issue is on my end since nobody else seems to complain about it. I'm getting "mouse position stack is not empty" error. Here is my Log [gist.github.com]

@X _ X Not sure I understand. You do the surgery for the grasses, the dreams and then the elders. As long as you have all the materials and have done the research it will show up under the available surgeries.

@X _ X If you have started the trials with a pawn you have to finish all of them before starting on a new I think

@Mlie i tested it with dev mode adding the stuff in the stockpile and it wasnt showing up for some pawns and when i added it in 1 of the pawns non of them can use the brews anymore

I placed a trials of grass on 1 of my characters and still had 1 left but it doesnt show on the medical tab to put it on them

I don't seem to be attacked by the monster's on "Monster Hunt quests" currently doing one against 31 nekkers they just let me shoot and kill them while they walk around.

@Mlie if biotech is installed having the trials give non inheritable Witcher genes that provide the buffs rather than hediffs. Would also allow for more randomness in the process by possibly adding the different Witcher schools as genes that are randomly given during the process. Makes each Witcher more unique and the process more engaging as you repeat the process to make the perfect Witcher. Medieval genepacks already has a method to 'drink' genes would just need to add the maybe deadly bit. I would attempt it myself but I'm inexperienced with anything beyond editing defs.

Failed trials of the grasses don't kill pawns, they just act as if they succeeded. Tested several times on a clean save with just this and harmony loaded, then modified RecipeDefs to change surgerySuccessChanceFactor to 0 and deathOnFailedSurgeryChance to 1, trials still always succeed.

The disappearing from the operations menu may be when this is used alongside dubs mint menus, if text is in the dubs operations search box before & during the operation (specific I know). The operation can still be found on the vanilla operations 'add bill' & simply opening that menu refreshes and adds it back to the dubs menu. There seem to be other small bugs with DMM, such as when highlighting a pawn that can undergo a later trial (dreams/elders) then switching to any other pawn, that pawn can now queue the later trials too. Only seems to be the surgeries from this mod having those issues with DMM.

First of all - thank you for keeping old mods alive Mlie! I'm having the same problem as CrackaJack's post from 2020 - after I apply one of the trials, they vanish from the operations menu for every other pawn. Not quite sure how to diagnose the problem because I don't get an error log. Prob. something to do with the biotech dlc and how it handles pawns?
