ive used it on many temperate planets, not sure how to tell "how high the Solar input" would be

the switch is so you can turn of the Repair Bay itself (after u install it), there is a good bit of 'static use' on them so turning them off allows the solar to charge Much faster
it will need to be set up when u put in the bay and console (dont need to switch console)

Is there any special function for the switch next to the console? Or is there a function planned?
And there is one more Question: Till now i never used that much Solar Power, because of some Problems. How high the energy Solar input on my planet should be for this Solar Base?

yes it will repair and even replace missing blocks 'after' you add the Repair bay and Repair Console itself. i left off these 2 parts for lower unlock - this is only the 'landing pad' until you add those
