If anyone still checks this in the latest 7 beta this mod will work in that you can equio ships with them in their respection faction shipyards, but if you buy the blueprints you cannot equip them on ships when you build them yourself.

Hi KungFury I like a boron corvette weapon that can take down a battership in 3 to 4 pass with 5 km range. I know some one going to say something about this but keep in mind when you add a mod to a game you already cheating . I just won't to have more fun with my corvette thank.

does this mod still work with 6.x? its been a long time sense i played. and i literally cant play with out these weapon and ship mods cuz i dont like defaults combat at all.

also where are all the X rebirth ship mods? they are all gone =,(

You have a 13 megabyte .git folder in the mod (possibly hidden), it is not needed in the mod, it takes up extra size.

I created a mod tool (X4 mod tool) exactly for this. Its available on Nexus and you can alter values of all projectiles, ships and modules like you want.
but I can not give lot of support for it and explain you all details. I tried to make it as easy as possible to use, so give it a try.

Understood but I think many want the OP for immersion per their experience, the sheer fun of it or whatever. Any chance of two version, one for us old crazy dudes ;)

Reasoning,
Vanilla game does not do a good job at reflecting training, tactics, force multipliers, ETC.

For example,
A privateer Navy (Squad, flotilla, ETC) using the same guns will always be outgunned by a British, US Naval crew with the same weapons systems due to weapon maintenance, constant training, tactics, not being drunk, stones our W/E. I use your mod to account for this, in that my immersion sets us apart, not everyone gets a first prize. Life and especially war... are typically OP.

If someone wants a vanilla war they can opt out of using such awesome mods. If someone knows the true difference training, maintenance, tactics and what a 20-years Master Gunny does to a gun crew,,, they have MODrs like you ;)

War is rarely EP, equally powered.

Because VRO reduced damage by 10-15% and these weapons would be overpowered compared to all other weapons.

Btw the newest version reduced overall damage by 10-15%, so even if the weapons are still stronger (and more expensive) than vanilla toys, they should be a bit closer now.

i see even in 6.0 the multiphase cannons typo in the encylopedia has still not been corrected lol "The ultiphase-cannon"

Nothing that I am aware of, just about to get back into X4 and was checking revision updates prior to doing so. I typically pass when the last update is a year old let alone two years. I like your mod and thought I'd ask. I'd rather not find out mid-game.

Ok, I did a bit more testing, turns out another outdated mod caused conflicts.
So, this mod may still be usable in 6.0. I will see if I encounter any issues during play.

Such a shame that this is outdated and balanced for VRO and there's no vanilla version - the weapon sounds are fantastic.

as a heads-up, the mod is currently buggy. The turret meshes are not up to date and can overlap with interiors. This means you are unable to move and are stuck in place on some ships and maybe stations.

Loving the mod but plz is there a way to replace the sound of the turret ? i have loads of soundfx in store but i need to change those they are way too loud and low quality my ears are bleeding...

This is "Critical Issues" I'm found! You know, your Paranid Weapons ware gone after "Realm Of the Trinity" appearance when I chosen to united both Paranid factions become one choice in the Paranid Main/Sub Quests. Please fix this issue too.

would love to use this mod, these weapons look amazing but am mostly vanilla, hope the mod author does a vanilla pass eventually, if not would the author be okay if one of us posted our own balance changes for the mod? If i did start using this i would probably want to do a heavy nerf across all weapons from the sounds of it and could potentially post the mod with those changed files here if that was okay, perhaps through a discussion post.
