thumbs up. quick and tasty mission. 3 things: the radio message is of an awful quality; that first technical backup seemed invencible, could only kill him after restarting the mission; where was the marshall? did I really need to start with all that explosive equipment to take care of it? probably someone took it out with one rocket.

Good little mission SP! I really enjoyed it. Felt mutch like the original Laser Show, thogh I think this one would have managed without the silencers. Still, definately earned a plus rating from me :)

@Willow - Glad you liked it. I always grab extra charges from the ammo box. Ususally 3 charges does the trick.

Was fun, I had some trouble blowing up the apc though, 2 out of 3 times my charge just destroyed all tired, the 3rd charge brought the entire garage down, that was cool :)

great mission, enjoyed it.

2 things: in one run the chopper left before i could board it (took me too long to blow up the apc?) and second on another run i boarded the chopper, it took off and then just hovered.

@VojtCZech - Thanks. The waypoint near the extraction is supposed to switch them to "aware" mode for that reason. Usually they'll switch by themselves if the area is clear of known enemies, too. Are you playing with any AI mods?

Good mission, I had fun, managed to complete it with minimum loses and damn I gave hell to the reinforcements when I mined the road from the north :D Only thing is that it took a lot of time to my teammates to reach the extraction point, because they were still in the combat behaviour.

@Lobstris - Thanks for the report. I'm not playing on dev branch, so maybe they changed something. However, it's just a simple MOVE waypoint, so I'm not sure why it wouldn't have worked correctly.

Latest dev build (112144) entered the chopper for extraction - it rose to about 50m then just hovered. Missuon didn't end.

@papy.rabbit.08 - I play on normal and often with mods, so I thought the mission (at least initially) was too easy (it's gotten more difficult with updates). I'll see what I can do. Thanks for the feedback and for giving it a try.

Nice simple mission, algouth I had two problems with it:
1.All the friendly guys get wiped out upon assault even with my help. I play on "custom" difficulty with friendly AI level set to same as enemy AI level. I think the AI thgemselves should have their personal skill at 1.
2.There's no indication that I should extract by chopper, except small text in the description of the task. I'd suggest renaming the task to "Extract by chopper" instead of "Leave the area".
Why? Simple. I didn't know there'll be friendly choppers in the area, so on the sound of one I immediately shot it down :) Turned out, that was my extraction options.

Alright, now that I see that it makes sense. Maybe you could set the reinforcements to always come after clearing out the Marshall? It was a little disappointing that the reinforcements didn't come after I had set out the mines as a trap for them. These are all just my thoughts though, this is an amazing mission

@Yams Aren't Hams - The reinforcements will come 3-6 minutes into the mission, but only if the chopper hasn't already been sent (i.e., if you've already cleared the town and destroyed the Marshall).

I didn't think to add in a checkpoint since the mission is typically so short, though I understand it can be frustrating to die and have to start over from the beginning.

Great mission! I agree with HandSlander on that the insertion and extract points could be further away. Also, the first time I played this I was told there would be an enemy counter-attack coming from the north. I wasn't really paying attention, and they easily mowed me down. I then had to start the mission over from scratch (perhaps you could throw a checkpoint in after destroying the Marshall?) but this second time I played there was no enemy counter-attack. I destroyed the Marshall and the exfil chopper came immediately. Not sure if that was a glitch and there was supposed to be a counter-attack, or what?

Just played this mission. Absolutely excellent, among the very best I've played!! Favourited. I mean just wow, you've done a really great job here with all the trimmings, a cool story, well laid out and a good replication of the original BIS mission. Couldn't ask for better. And you actually managed to get the AI to reliably use IR which is a feat in itself. I noticed all the small details like the IR coming on and then off. My only criticism would be that it was too short, possibly because of the short insertion and very near extraction.
