FubyDoo: Sorry to hear about the issue. Alas, not sure what to recommend, but you might send a request to DTG customer service, as it seems like it is an issue with Steam not recognizing that you own the routes.

While your sale came up..I ventured back to this freebie.. which requires two dovetail routes.. which I own.. and as before.. it still does not recognize that I own them.. a bit frustrating.. even for free.

Where did you get Marias from so recently?

I noticed some of those first, in fact! I have a few of your other scenario packs I'll eventually get to, as well. Not to mention all the free scenarios I can play here. I was able to acquire Marias Pass and can now play those, too.

Glad to see this has a light load while NOT requiring Marias or Stevens. So many of the great routes need it. I will add this to the collection on my desktop and give it a shot as I suspect it might have a better time there than either of my laptops. Looking forward to seeing what scenarios exist as I just loaded a bunch of US trains at the last sale.

STONERN712: Thanks for your interest. As mentioned in the route description, this is actually a fictional route, so you can use whatever you wish!

Just a quick question, what locomotives were/are generally used along this route?

oakpalms: As clearly stated in the description, this is a "free-lance" route created to represent a "typical" Midwestern railroad. I used various Indiana place names simply because that's where I grew up. It also states it is patterned somewhat after an NS line, and of course the Monon and NS have and had nothing in common. I can guarantee you I know the real Monon rather well.

High Irons As you surely know, it is very unrealistic. You leave off Bloomington and Elletsville and you only put in the White River East Fork. You did not even put in the White River West Fork that crosses the route just before the gravel pits at Gosport and which runs parallel with the tracks from that point north to the junction with the old Pennsy tracks which would be at what is the end of your tracks, and you have the gravel pit on the wrong side of the tracks. You use portions of the old Monon route, but you leave off a lot of tracks that would have made a good route like siding tracks to limestone quarries at Stinesville, Elletsville.and Bloomington. You could also extended the tracks to midway between Cloverdale and Gosport where old tracks came up to the Monon mainline from down near Bicknell and there was a small yard at Quincy where there was a coaling station and water tower in addition to a Wye that could have been used to turn trains around.

I just now downloaded the B & O Kingwood Branch and now I will try to get the Bedford Junction route to work. It just so happens that I was born in the town of Gosport, IN and the route passes through towns and cities on track that used to be the old Monon Route. All of the towns on the Bedford Junction are within an hour drive of my old home place.

thank you high iron after running a verification it found 20 some issues all fixed up now and the route works, i very much appreciate your help and content in TS

Wronnoc: Sorry to hear that. You might try a file verify just to make sure some of the dependency files aren't missing, etc.

whenever i download this i get a DLL error, yes i have all the dlc but it just won't show up any idea?

I love the line its a nice way to get away from the huscle and buscle of the main line and just serve the local towns and industries, the only complant is motor switches instead of manual switches cause i would like to do quick drive switching however its not a huge issue i love the route and your coal, quarry, and local jobs Keep up the awsome work

COABREWER: Alas, there is a bug in Workshop presently. Suggest downloading at least one scenario for the route (as are available here at Workshop) and start the route from the standard route tab rather than the workshop tab.

I am seeing this on this route and some others.. I have all the stuff required yet it won't let me drive and then I get this error..

williamperryjr: Did you try starting the route with a QD using the QD menu (not workshop tab)? You might also wish to install one of the standard scenarios and trying starting it, again from the standard route tab.

Cleared cache reinstalled when I click on it,it locks and get this message timed Check For install: Has no Uninstalled Synced Items???? Want to try route but just won't co-operate lol.

williamperryjr: Nothing wrong with the route, it is in use by 1,000+ users. There are some bugs with Workshop at this time. Suggest you accessthe via the normal route menu tabs (not Workshop tab) and/or clear your cache.

I've downloaded this route twice and every time I click on it in the workshop list when I go to play it it locks up my computer no other routes do that. Whats wrong??????
