Can't get this working with a remote control block and a camera. Was hoping this would allow me to control a drone and interact with buttons and doors. Works well when I'm in a control seat or passenger seat. Also not getting the same abilities others report when in the camera like moving it or getting the crosshairs when I press alt. Guessing Fieldwork DLC broke something.

Does this still work okay?

I made a working steering wheel for an airplane with the sticky hand mod. Does it works with this mode?

Does this work with Improvised Engineering?

Hey Klime, This mod sadly does not function with the buttons on the new Media Player block, only the lcd screen on it
Reign May 30, 2024 @ 6:55am
This mod is amazing :) Thank you for making it.

Does this mod support MFD's?
petrus4 Apr 25, 2024 @ 7:06am
This is another mod that should be in the vanilla game. My thanks, Klime.

The image is the cockpit of the Space Shuttle Columbia. Not in-game
Beezle305 Feb 24, 2024 @ 6:17pm
Mod looks really useful and I will probably be implementing on my server next chance I get. My real question here is about the main image. Is this from in game? If yes what are all the blocks with the decorative flight buttons? Is this available on the workshop?

Klime a question not pushing request ..do you intend to make this a plugin for the SE plugin loader.. would love to run it MP

Hey Klime, for InFlightButtons, you should create a small mod that disables the use of ship function toggles, i.e. No Y for power, no Z for dampeners. This gives incentive to boot their ship via buttons instead. The same could be said with the use of 1 to 0 hotkeys, completely limiting ship interaction to control panels and buttons

I to think a zoom function when in a seat could help a lot does not need to be a lot.
thanks
Silverbane May 11, 2023 @ 8:49pm
Any chance we could add zoom as well to this mod? I have a hard time seeing some of the smaller lcd screens on small grid cockpit ships.
Victoria Fox Mar 18, 2023 @ 6:27pm
I will say I do love this mod. only thing I would note is I think an update broke the remote control block part. I originally downloaded this so I could try a drone only run of the frost bite scenario. but even with that not working I'm still going to keep using this since I can still use it to make a control center for the drones.
Cosmonautical_Alex Aug 22, 2022 @ 7:09pm
Does this work with a controller?

Update:
- Crosshair is smaller, and scales with FOV (compatible with cameras)
BurgerMaster69420 Jan 24, 2022 @ 11:11pm
hey! thought i'd let you know that with the camera panning mod, holding alt (to pan) makes the little cursor from this mod show up. would be great if that was disabled within camera view
Nathan Jan 6, 2022 @ 12:40pm
Yes. Where do we find this in inventory?
mr tau354 Sep 30, 2021 @ 1:05pm
where are the blocks in the inventory
LSG123 Sep 26, 2021 @ 10:19am
oh while im here ive got a suggestion: make the crosshair scale with zooming in cus this kinda makes extra zoom camera mods useless cus all you see is orange cus the cross gets bigger as you zoom
LSG123 Sep 26, 2021 @ 10:18am
@Imperator where can i find this mod? is it on the workshop yet?
LSG123 Sep 26, 2021 @ 10:17am
ooo that sounds very cool, let us know when thats functioning
Klime  [author] Sep 22, 2021 @ 11:06am
@Imperator I'm down. You are free to use any InflightButtons code that you need.
Imperator Sep 22, 2021 @ 7:45am
Hey Dude, I have been working on a Mod to get the buttons inside the cockpit working like DCSWorld. I have the models made and its working and works alongside your mod nicely. Speaking with Digi and he suggested I reach out to see if maybe we could work on some sort of joint API so that people could just download one mod and modders had a chance to use it to build different indepth cockpits. Would appreciate your thoughts. AdvancedCockpits is on the workshop if you want to have a look.
LSG123 Aug 21, 2021 @ 4:31pm
could this be disabled while using a camera cus if you try and zoom with the zoom plus mod or anything like it, the crosshair for this completely takes up the screen, or maybe make the crosshair always stay the same size instead of becoming bigger as you zoom idk
Viper Jun 19, 2021 @ 8:10am
However, as a previous commenter mentioned, it's annoying to have to turn this crosshair off with each session. Not the end of the world, but annoying. It doesn't remember your setting between sessions.
Viper Jun 19, 2021 @ 5:30am
it does not conflict with weaponcore crosshair, and this crosshair can simply be turned off.
Kaito Apr 29, 2021 @ 8:28pm
Any idea if this conflicts with weaponcore's crosshair?
Storm Apr 27, 2021 @ 4:56pm
Exactly what I wanted? A single LCD button block /pray.
mLJ Apr 15, 2021 @ 6:20am
Hey Klime - Love your mods. Just wondering if there could be an option to remember the /crosshair setting across reloads? Or alternatively, a version of the mod where the crosshair is disabled by default? Many thanks.
tuks Mar 17, 2021 @ 4:51pm
+1 for what imperator said, would love to have lcds added as well because of input lcds :)
Pickles the Frog Mar 1, 2021 @ 9:08pm
Where would the item be in the g inventory?
Imperator Jan 2, 2021 @ 2:59am
Hey, The is an absolutely amazing concept! There is something I feel is missing from this mod and that is access to LCD's.

I use a combination of a programmable block, a corner lcd and a button panel to make an input panel. Would be amazing if I could click on a corner LCD and it automatically brought up the edit text input. This was I could provide custom commands to my mainframe while sat in a seat.

Is this something that would be possible, or would you be able to offer advice on how I might achieve this?

Thanks a million!

I still think this is a great mod! I wish it was in the vanilla game. It's very useful for those who love pushing buttons!
Capt. Sunrise Jun 28, 2020 @ 1:00pm
Nvm they do work when inside a seat, but you can't use it if it's above the seat
Capt. Sunrise Jun 28, 2020 @ 12:50pm
When I click on the button while in a seat, it says 'Activation failed', I can press it just fine when not in a seat though?
Zóar Jun 8, 2020 @ 2:06am
I think there is a bug with the floating text, it is not displayed correctly on the button where it belongs.

My cabin is a little more compact then the plane you used, but this mod has brought about a whole different experience to Space Engineers that I never thought I would love so much.

Updated. Fixed ghost highlight issue
Klime  [author] Apr 27, 2020 @ 8:02am
Note: There is a currently an issue where highlighted blocks remain highlighted, even after leaving the camera. This is due to a Keen change in their latest hotfix. This issue will be resolved in the next patch.

Thank you. dream come true

Minor update: Crosshair should now be bright and vibrant in all lighting conditions. Enjoy :)
