Please update to 1.4

When trying to deconstruct the power shaft on the surface to move it, the bar fills up, the game momentarily pauses, and then... it remains and the character tries to deconstruct it again. Also trying to use console commands, nothing happens.
why are we here? just to suffer? Dec 24, 2021 @ 5:45pm
10/10

Thanks for updating this. Love to see quality mods survive.

@thundercraft You're correct. When I originally made this mod there was no steam version to link, only the one from Ludeon forums. I never came back and updated it with the continued steam version, but it should be fixed now.

If this requires "DeepRim", then should that bit listed on the right side under "REQUIRED ITEMS"?

Can anyone with issues on the production tab please post their modlist and perhaps a screenshot in the "Troubleshooting Logs" discussion thread? I can't reproduce the issue in the vanilla game or with any of my 100+ active mods.
Home Depot Freaking Oct 8, 2021 @ 1:35pm
yea the production tab is unusable with this mod
Koi Sep 26, 2021 @ 10:33am
He probably ment the tab.
Alchemical Agent  [author] Jul 5, 2021 @ 6:34am
@berliozina I'm not sure what that refers to.
berliozina Jun 9, 2021 @ 10:29am
Disappeared all 'Production'

I just updated with some fixes and modifications. The Change Notes tab has a longer description.

Something else to keep in mind is the version of DeepRim available on the Steam Workshop has some issues as well, mainly that it won't allow multiple shafts to the same layer (at least in my testing). Pulling the RW 1.1 version of DeepRim off the Ludeon forums seems to work fine, however.

The problem is, the update crashes the "forget" option of the layer, AND crashes the brokening of shaft. So I cannot forget layer with the mod on...

I agree it would be great to tie the underground power to surface-side shafts. Unfortunately it's not possible without modifying the DeepRim mod itself or compiling a dll patch for it. Removing the option to turn off surface shafts is the best I could do with only xml patches.

Would be good, if shaft on down level would turned off electric output when shaft in up there is not connected to electricity

Thanks for the update on mod!
It's been very useful
But now I have a problem - I cannot turn off the shaft, so I must reconnect it to not working power grid like 1 pixel of cable.
Dr. Fnord Jul 15, 2020 @ 8:51pm
Thank you for that.

Each layer you drill basically acts as a separate colony, so it can get out of hand pretty quick if you aren't careful. With that being said as long as you stick to one or two layers it's usually fine. Abandoning a layer is the same as abandoning a settlement on the map so it's a good way to reign in CPU use if you get desperate.

Is deeprim cpu destroyer still?
