sorry, but I can't help you :(

For me, I have "integrated" this mod in my own-made "academy-mod" ( personally use only) and it works fine.

I took another look into the data and I can't imagine that this mod will be disturbed by other mods unlees you use heavyly scripted ones.

I have unassigned leaders, i just don't have a tab. Only way for me to get the tab is to restart the game until it appears. I don't know if it's because i have other mods or because it's bugged.

The original data-files includes this line ( same for marshals and admirals):

visible = {
any_army_leader = {
is_assigned = no
is_field_marshal = no
}
}

If you have no officers which are not assigned, the decisions will not be visible.
I assume, when there is no decision you can make ( because all leaders are assigned ), the whole tab will "disappear" until you are able again, to make a "removal-decison".

I do get the decisions, but they randomly disappear. The whole tab, not just decisions themselves. It happens randomly and most of the time i don't even tried to select any decision.

Delete this line:

"fire_only_once = yes"

and the decision will appear again when the timer has finished.

I have always some generals which are not assigned. They are the "reserve" for those who will getting sick our wounded.


So I have a suggestion to pick only the "bad" general to remove:

limit = {
num_units = 1
is_field_marshal = no
}
retire = yes
}
}

In this example only the general with 1 unit will retire. Therefor I suggest a specified small unit in the capital.

I believe the only instance where that happens in the base game is soviet generals, and that's because they're pre-existing and their names aren't randomly generated. I wish I could but I think we'll have to wait and hope for paradox to incorporate their own system for firing generals.

Is it possible to make a version so you can select individual leaders to remove rather than everyone. I like the idea but losing every unassigned leader is a real pain as I lose a lot of decent ones just to get rid of a small few.

It might? I dunno, the OWB version works with the fallout mod, so it's possible it'll work with mods like kaiserreich
