@vuthakral is it possible to make the kick function of the 'unarmed' drc base weapon an action we can do outside of having it active? i randomly found out that holding e and left clicking does that kick, thirdperson animations and all. ik there are others that do this but half of them break with the addons i got, this doesnt. if u cant then u cant but IF its possible would/could you do it?

Hey! I'm using Arccw and there's a neat interaction where we have Draconic's Third Person with the first person ADS of ArcCW. Is there a way that DTP can have recoil enabled in third person so that it can be more seamless with the first person ADS?

I have an issue where my spray keeps showing on my playermodel despite the whole fact I disabled the option for my spray to appear on my playermodel, and I disabled the spray in the options menu in general. I don't know if this is an issue with Draconic base or the playermodel I am using.

Sorry for the late response, but I don't think anything is inherently broken per se, but I find it very odd that there's absolutely no option to change weapon attributes within the system itself. I get that mod makers have the freedom to set certain values as they please, but I'd like to be able to change automatic weapons (Say for example the Halo ARs/SMGs) to actually have a pretty tight spread, kinda like CS for example, have them be able to compete with longer range weapons.

I just don't see why there isn't some kind of settings system or convar that controls a "base spread" variable to be able to be changed on a whim, (Whether to make every weapon a laser beam, or completely useless.)

I genuinely do not understand how that can happen, all values being calculated there are self-contained and are never set as strings. Is there anything else you can tell me about this like if it happens constantly, a one-off error, or etc?

I think I've encountered this error a couple of times after playing Jazztronauts with Draconic Base enabled. This might occur at times while viewing certain cutscenes after doing fetch quests for the characters around in that gamemode.

Note that this only happens in this gamemode, any other gamemode, this error won't pop up at all.
I tested it without any other addons (or addons that requires this base) other than this addon and that said gamemode and it will cause errors as described above.

The Draconic Base is a development platform for people to create what they want to with it. If an addon developer makes guns a certain way then that is their perogative. That being said "comical levels of spread" sounds like something is breaking, such as perhaps the internal bloom system (how spread is calculated) has a failing timer which causes it to never decay. Are you having any abnormal levels of gameplay at all?

Are there no config settings/multipliers for weapons in general? I find a lot of weapons especially the halo ones, have comical levels of spread that it's basically non-viable at pretty much any range besides fart-sniffing distance and I can't find any settings for them pretty much anywhere. I get trying to replicate game behaviors, but shouldn't there be these settings in general?

To explain this further, it's because the use key is used as a key-combo for various SWEP inputs. Rather than prevent pickup outright I coded a side-system so you can still pick stuff up or safely do gun melees/switch firemodes without accidentally picking up a nearby prop.

You likely made a thirdperson preset at some point and later deleted it, but did not reset your thirdperson settings. I need to make a hotfix that accounts for this but basically the preset auto-loader currently fails and breaks the rest of the script that code is in if the preset it tries to load is nil. Just set cl_drc_thirdperson_preset "" for the time being if you need an immediate fix.
