@everyone who says this should be a satyr

YEAH WE KNOW

BUT THERE'S THIS MODERN THING OF THIS CENTURY CALLED FAUNBOYS AND IN A SENSE THEY'RE BASICALLY SATYRS JUST ONE IS MORE OF A CURRENT JOKE THAN A MYTHICAL ONE

Also, tell me there isn't a deer fandom after you've looked at Whitetail-Music and Futret.

@Knusperfrosch / CrunchyFrog that's true, but also you have to remember that Pan was a peacful god. Also, his flute was not only to creat fear, but harmony. Now if we're going to talk about evil Greek/Roman god purposes, then maybe in more of the Roman myth Pan (or Faun) was more mischievous, but the Roman gods stood for honor and power, whereas the Greek forms stood for peace and ballance, so there's a difference in the religeous myth behind each god. I'm impressed with your knowledge of Greek/Roman myth btw :D

I love this set and would 10/10 buy/wear it. I hope this gets in! :sentry:

Indeed. Faun (or faunus) is Latin, he was the Roman forest god, the equivalent to the Greek god Pan and the Greek satyrs.

The word panic derives from the Greek πανικός, "pertaining to shepherd god Pan", who was able to send humans and herds of lifestock into bursts of fear by playing his magic pan flute.
