Slight bug I noticed: on a new save file, the Badge Seller offered me the EX version before I had even bought the original Hover Badge. Not sure if that's fixable, given other issues I've noticed with his inventory with mods... (He did offer the original badge a few runs later.)

i really loved this badge because is very good for just building up speed and traversing through the maps. But I kinda wished you could cancel it's effect with a button because as a of now it will often kill you if you try to jump into precise platforms and that thing will always activate and make you overshoot the jump since it makes you fly way too fast and without an option to make it stop.

This is such a good, fair & useful mod IMO.

The original Hover Badge loses it's use after a certain skill point and this upgrade to it makes it so much more useful in so many scenarios, it keeps the momentum going during high octane scenarios and saves me so much time during deathwishes but it didn't feel like cheating.

This mod feels like something a badge in the game should do, take up a slot and assist in accomplishing tasks better. Great idea, nice execution, thanks for making this mod!

(also maybe add a visual glow or something when floating, at the moment i had to get used to noticing when the animation was actually triggering or not)

if i disable the mod will i get the original back?

@NeoKat Unfortunately, the badge acts as a replacement due to the way it is scripted, and cannot be toggled back to the original once it is bought. See the mod description for more details :)

Is there a way to make this separate from the original badge?

@★PizzaMigraines★ That bug seems to be a rare occurrence because I only managed to recreate it after hours of playing while using this badge. I currently have no idea what the circumstances behind this bug are.

@Grand Yes, you'll get back the original Hover Badge after uninstalling. If the EX version is still equipped, it will simply appear as blank on your inventory until you reequip the original Hover Badge. Just be aware that you'll have to purchase the badge again if you reinstall this mod.

If i uninstall the mod after getting the badge will I get back the original hover badge?

I had a minor bug where the umbrella disappeared and I was T-posing in the air. Was able to fly around for a bit and it was amazing, gave me a good laugh. (I fixed it by changing hats)

@Zeon Just applied a quick patch and tested it, making sure the badge doesn't disappear after purchase when restarting the game. It seemed to work on my end. Lemme know if it works for you as well.

Also, this may be obvious, but as a general rule of thumb for everyone else: Your progress won't save if you don't quit through the pause menu, so keep that in mind.

@Zeon That's strange. Might be a problem caused by the changes I made to the scripts last night. I'll see what I can do!

Note: I never uninstalled or disabled the mod. It was gone when I relaunched the game

The mod is great, but I had to buy it again from the Badge Seller, wasting 600 Pons.

@🍌Mana Banana🍌Sorry about that; just removed them. I have no idea how those got added. This badge should require nothing else in order to use it

why does it require new hat city and gold leaf galaxy though?
