Alec R.  [author] Oct 30, 2023 @ 10:02am
@karlThorsten yeah, after all these years I can say myself that the hull turned out to be waaay too thick, functionality is bare bones and interior is garbage. But oh well, you live and you learn. Still glad that people enjoying it tho.
KarlThorsten89 Oct 30, 2023 @ 12:48am
HOLY... HELL...
This is one of the largest ISD designs I've seen. Not as smooth as at least one does with the armor angling, but good lord...
This is beyond amazing. I am going to anger so many people on a sever I play!
Alec R.  [author] Aug 11, 2023 @ 2:45pm
@RMazer probably a year, or year and a half. Don't remember at this point.
RMazer Feb 25, 2021 @ 9:37am
A truly amazing work of art how long did it take you to build?
Alec R.  [author] Jan 18, 2021 @ 5:50am
@Mouldy Fox no idea. How am I even supposed to know this? Lol.
SevenofThr4wn Jan 16, 2021 @ 2:33pm
@Alec KDY: how many Air vents are there on the ISD, I need an exact number???
Alec R.  [author] Jan 10, 2021 @ 10:47pm
@Minecraft_phenomena ok I guess, but please give a link to the original one if you post it publically.
SevenofThr4wn Jan 10, 2021 @ 7:36pm
@KDY Alec, can I please modify it and give you credit for the building?
SevenofThr4wn Jan 7, 2021 @ 5:26pm
@KDY Alec, Can I Fit one of your Lambda Class Shuttles in the Hangar of the ISD? it would be extremely useful if it could.
XxTeoMatxX Jul 6, 2020 @ 4:57am
hey, do you ever think about doing the xyston class star destroyer? Because it will be cool.
FormalCyborg Oct 3, 2019 @ 11:37pm
I said yes, My graphics card said no.
brodyjb Sep 7, 2019 @ 10:35am
good lord this thing is huge. im just waiting for someone to make that scene from the rise of skywalker trailer now.
Alec R.  [author] Aug 30, 2019 @ 7:23am
@kainyman thanks!
KaiBowman Aug 30, 2019 @ 4:33am
In the space engineers star wars ship building industry you are definitely on top of the game this is awesome
Alec R.  [author] Aug 16, 2019 @ 5:13am
Mr.Meeseeks thanks! This system was created by me, and main point of it is to reduce the number of blocks in one single grid, because with this system it gets divided into several other grids.
NaN Aug 15, 2019 @ 4:24pm
♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, using blast door and landing gears to supergrid the sides, what a genius idea. I thought about spending a couple weeks and making a full interior for this but the performance on my pc. wew lad. still, this is probably the best ISD design ive ever seen
Alec R.  [author] Aug 7, 2019 @ 3:44pm
@GunsAndGlory Factory ship commanded by General Rom Mohc. I really want to build it actually, but I have to finish my previous projects before starting new ones.
GunsAndGlory Aug 7, 2019 @ 3:32pm
I have a question. Will you ever make the arc hammer?
The Red Moustache Jul 23, 2019 @ 4:47am
what the.......
Alec R.  [author] Jul 18, 2019 @ 10:52am
+PA thank you! Conveyors are optional thing - you can add any amount and connect any things you want in survival, while in creative mod they are not needed at all. And thanks one more time! : )
PA Jul 17, 2019 @ 6:45pm
Beautiful. I'm actually surprised that it doesn't lag that much for its amount of blocks!
The insides are impressive how you welded different angles together. I'm guessing different sets are the reason not everything is conveyored together?

The level of detail is fantastic. A true work of art. I also love the room where you were out of imagination :)

Cheers!
Alec R.  [author] Jul 10, 2019 @ 9:49am
+xX McClure Xx thank you! It's not a good idea actually, because 11x11 are more suited for 1:1 scale replicas, while my is roughly 1:2. So on my ISD they would look wrong and over-sized.
McClure_91 Jul 10, 2019 @ 9:40am
Awesome work here!!! As Primo said, probably one the best Star Destroyers available

Would be cool to see the 11x11 Octuble Turbolasers instead of the 7x7s though. Like seen in Battlefront 2 when Iden Versio is walking along the outside of the ISD. The cannons in the game looked like she could walk right down one of the barrels. The 11x11 certainly would add that effect!
Alec R.  [author] Jul 10, 2019 @ 5:24am
+SauceBoss thanks! Considering that this is not 100% scale model, i decided that this sharp tip would be the best looking one.
Emildsss Jul 10, 2019 @ 1:04am
Isnt the nose too sharp??? But still it looks great. :D
Alec R.  [author] Jul 9, 2019 @ 2:39am
+clone.wars.hero5 thanks!
CT IronGarrison CT-11648 Jul 8, 2019 @ 11:33pm
you did it again KDY. you are awsom!
Alec R.  [author] Jul 5, 2019 @ 5:02pm
+Pasta_power no problem.
Pasta_power Jul 5, 2019 @ 4:32pm
I wasn't really worried about functionality, but it turns out you can paste this into creative without owning the DLC. I still don't know how DLC blueprints affect projections in survival. Nevertheless, it seems I was complaining about a problem within the SE workshop community that doesn't really exist.

I'm sorry for being hostile to you earlier. You don't really deserve it after all the time and effort you must've put into this ship.
Alec R.  [author] Jul 5, 2019 @ 9:43am
+Pasta_power ship is fully functional without DLC. And yes, all my previous ships were with the same style of "HIDEOUS" (c) interior.
Pasta_power Jul 5, 2019 @ 9:11am
Why on earth did you slap DLC content on such a HIDEOUS interior? You used almost nothing but unpainted light armor blocks for all the walls and floors, and then you thought it was a good idea to slap some flowers, tables, and lockers on there just to deny vanilla players the subscribe button? What the HELL were you thinking!?
Alec R.  [author] Jul 5, 2019 @ 5:12am
+kerrie0400 thanks! No problems with that - i got permission from her, and screenshot is made just for comparison. : )
Fullercloth2201 Jul 5, 2019 @ 12:11am
oh and nice build
Fullercloth2201 Jul 5, 2019 @ 12:11am
oi that pic better not be mean towards sauron. or else...
Alec R.  [author] Jun 30, 2019 @ 10:50am
+| n f a m o u s I discussed this issue with people who know ISD very well, and they said that my interpretation of ISD's hull is quite accurate. But it doesn't mean that my ISD is an ideal 150% replica. It has some intentional and unintentional changes from both movie and any other version.

If you are really concerned about width, check out this shot from "The Empire Strikes Backs" and compare it to mine ISD: http://files.starwarsuncut.com/assets/film_2/hd/142.jpg
| n f a m o u s Jun 30, 2019 @ 10:16am
I know its the largest but proportionally its more slim, more feminine and more like Executor shaped because of this. Not that this is a bad thing!
DeAnti Jun 30, 2019 @ 10:06am
| n f a m o u s ....naw TF are you smoking on ..."Skinny" lol this the fattest one
Alec R.  [author] Jun 30, 2019 @ 9:33am
+| n f a m o u s ok, thanks!
| n f a m o u s Jun 30, 2019 @ 8:01am
It's a theme with your builds, it does make them look smoother but you reduce a significant amount of the "Y axis girth" On this build its not as noticeable as on your Venator or Arquitens, and it still looks great regardless!
Alec R.  [author] Jun 30, 2019 @ 7:25am
+| n f a m o u s thanks! But, what do you mean by "skinny"?
| n f a m o u s Jun 30, 2019 @ 7:16am
It's really good but its still very "skinny" compared to others on the workshop like Sauron's. Must have taken a lot of time though for a ship this large, very good!
Alec R.  [author] Jun 30, 2019 @ 5:18am
+DeAnti thank you!
DeAnti Jun 30, 2019 @ 3:25am
well done!
Alec R.  [author] Jun 29, 2019 @ 12:23pm
+Black_D3th thanks!
Thrust Jun 29, 2019 @ 12:18pm
Pfft "one of", nah i'd say it's the best on the workshop!
Alec R.  [author] Jun 29, 2019 @ 9:55am
+PrimoSuperT thank you!
PrimoSuperT Jun 29, 2019 @ 9:49am
Amazing job you’ve done here! Probably one of the best ISDs on the WS!
