Steam Community :: Remove "Steam group servers"

How do I join these servers they don't appear on the bottom right of my screen? I only have the normal campaign and versus lobbies mostly that show up

@S E X Y - No, I can't be bothered dealing with the .res files. If someone else wants to download the files and upload an updated version, they can. Almost all my mods are open-source and freely usable/modifiable with credit.

How in the world showing tons of Chinese servers on my steam group server? I have not joined any other groups. It is over 50 Chinese Servers, OH MY GOD!

@DreadWolf - You can't, this edits a file that Urik's mod also edits, it's incompatible with other UI mods.

@ciggy - I'll go through all my mods in the future to see which need updating, I think there's other mods that do the same as this one which are already updated though

it blocks versus survival from appearing on the main menu.

Check the other groups you are in, there's various other steam groups and games you may be following that are infested with those servers.
I know that Killing Floor and Insurgency are infested with them, it carries over theough games - So if you have them in L4D2, you'll also see the servers in other games that they leech from.

It only removes the "steam group servers" list that is displayed on the bottom right on the main menu, you are still able to use the "community server" option when hosting a game, or when joining players directly.

I linked a guide in te description, for people who only want to get rid of those servers while retaining the serverbrowser, it's what i did since i use community servers all the time

Yes, lead 4 dead and others like that. They're nicknamed "leech servers", because just like leeches they are parasytes that leech off other, bigger groups in a weak attempt and bringing more traction to their dying servers.
