I don't know what the first step in the video is but from my recollection of excessively playing the map, I made a cubestacking and made one fall through the fizzler while the fizzler was deactivated . I don't think that's questionable. It's certainly not for everyone, but Jonatan's descriptions always stated "A complex puzzle for hardcore Portal players."
Thank you for the recommendation, I know a couple of Greykarel's maps from when I was a Portal player rather looking for easy maps, so I skipped most of them. I will definitely check them out later! At the moment I am playing through Donderbus' workshop and only have a couple of maps left. Afterwards I had planned on playing through your workshop because of this map and the nice 3 minute map :)
Thank you for mapping!
There is a video of Perplexo. Wow, already the first step is... questionable. The question is, when does something go too far. Sometimes it's hard to tell.
From these two maps I can tell what your cup of tea is. You probably already know Greykarel's maps. If not, special recommendation: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=142221391
Is there a way to get hold of all the maps posted to thinkingwithportals? It really would be a
shame if they were all lost...
Which map is it that you spent more than 10 hours on?
This is a real gem, even better than the original Heart Chamber. I don't have much time now, just solved and really should have been on my way 15 minutes ago, but it has been a terrific pleasure! I cheated slightly, though: I was a little bit demotivated and then had a friend watch the youtube solution to tell me whether I was on the right track ;)
Thank you for mapping!
But please, spend more time on this than a simple hour.
I have too much trouble seeing laser angles. I can't judge them very well. I'm sure this is a brilliant puzzle, but it's beyond my puzzle solving abilities.
By the way, why the light bridges? What happens if they aren't there?
I'll make a demo if you want to.
Spent few hours without result...
