Had our first issue today after getting attacked and breached hull, the engine room just kept staying flooded even after welding, fixing electrical etc.. We even installed a new pump with barocraftables+ and wired it, just kept flooding.
Daimyo Jul 4, 2024 @ 11:48am
Still works in 2024

Precursor Jul 27, 2022 @ 1:55pm
I fixed the issue the Junction boxes were not connected into the diving suit. I had to make a new junction box and rewire it to the engine and other boxes to power them
Precursor Jul 23, 2022 @ 11:17am
Does the oxygen not transfer to the diving suits in their containers? aswell as the oxygen containers beneath them?
Havoc May 31, 2022 @ 7:04pm
So I like the sub but quick question... why is it so damn fast? like 2 times faster than the MK1. Feels kinda busted and makes the ship feel op
ENZERO May 30, 2022 @ 7:45am
dugong means scary and ugly creature on the deep sea.. from PH.
TheRawDizzle Apr 23, 2022 @ 7:51am
All diving suit lockers and tanks underneath aren't wired...

Completely missed the opportunity to call it the "Dulong"

In the forward ballast tank, you've got two background textures fighting with each other at .98 sprite depth. It's the forwardmost Back Wall Ballast C, which probably can just be deleted. Also, symbols are too bright and in odd spots, so they're awkward looking. This is true of the original vanilla Dugong in one spot, but it's only on the medical symbol. The way they did the other symbols (dulling them down to 50% gray and shrinking so they can fit on a riveted backboard) looks a lot better, though it's admittedly not as highly visible.

This Submarine is very good for a boost to start your campaign with, but no matter what i do the submarine Will always fail saving it's inventory a few missions in. It says that it cannot save because it is being used in another process each round start. However this could just be on my end. Can anyone give me advice how to fix this or what may cause it?

The Gong got Long
alno1935 May 1, 2021 @ 7:33pm
makes sense, I'll look forward to it!
Ninebreaker  [author] Apr 30, 2021 @ 8:44pm
Yeah I have been meaning to go and edit the inventories of all my subs and also update the prices. They are all pre-stack update.
alno1935 Apr 30, 2021 @ 7:19pm
It's pretty darn good. My only real issue is all the items on-board haven't been stack (i assume it was done before the stacking update.). One odd thing i noticed is this is cheaper to start out with than the regular dugong. (only costing 5000-ish marks vs the regular which is something around 6000) not a big deal by any means, just feels too easy to get when it's a really good sub.
vin Apr 27, 2021 @ 1:27pm
Well I was in the regular Dugong so maybe that was the issue? Could it also be that it automatically resets custom ships in campaign menu after each match?
Ghostwish Apr 27, 2021 @ 1:15pm
Confirm that I often see the dukong mk2 for sale. Wasn't there some randomness to sub availability added in? I could be misremembering, but, I definitely saw it for sale.
Ninebreaker  [author] Apr 27, 2021 @ 12:25pm
Hmm, that is how it should work.

In single player you just need to find the NPC that sells submarines in outposts, they will have a ship icon under their name.

For MP you have to select the subs you want in the campaign menu. Then the NPC will have those subs in stock.

vin Apr 27, 2021 @ 12:12pm
Oh oke, thats strange, considering I thought i marked all of them. Will see later if I get it working like that.
Ninebreaker  [author] Apr 27, 2021 @ 11:06am
You have to add all custom ships into the campaign when you create it. There will be a list of subs when you first create a campaign, just select the ones you want from that list.

If you host a MP server you can just straight up select your starting sub in the campaign.
vin Apr 27, 2021 @ 9:15am
How / Where can I buy it in campaign?
Blood Sin Apr 13, 2021 @ 8:14am
I want)
Ninebreaker  [author] Apr 12, 2021 @ 11:45am
That was just there to hide the clown costume, you would only be able to get to it when the tank is flooded. Buuut that never worked out too well, if people want it will be removed in the next update.
Blood Sin Apr 9, 2021 @ 1:02pm
What about balast #2?
Why is there a beam?
Cake_Stealer Mar 28, 2021 @ 5:50pm
Thank you
Ninebreaker  [author] Mar 28, 2021 @ 5:38pm
Go ahead
Cake_Stealer Mar 28, 2021 @ 4:46pm
Do you mind if I upload a modified version of this I've created? I extended the upper hull and moved the Helm there, moved the coil gun ammo storage to where the original helm was. Then moved the fabricator and deconstructor to where the ammo storage was and added a lower airlock where the fabricator used to be.

I'd credit your version as the basis it was built on of course.

Nice sub and a great upgrade to the Dugong. Only issue I have with it is it has way to much in the way of high end supplies. Makes using it in campaign kind of OP. Otherwise great sub.
Ninebreaker  [author] Oct 22, 2020 @ 7:34pm
Both the Mk2 and 3 have been updated. The docking port should now transfer power, and the room names have been fixed. I also added the new crate storage shelves to the thing.

Also Dorai-Yu feel free to upload your verion.
Darth Jimmi Oct 12, 2020 @ 4:01pm
Hey! my friends and i love this sub!

We've noticed that the room names in the status monitor are slightly mixed up. My friend took it upon himself to fix it ("and make the room names clearer" he said).

Since i doubt he'll be able/willing to keep the sub up to date with game updates, i thought id let you know so you could do something about it.
TheMineKnight Oct 3, 2020 @ 9:15am
So... you can't use this ship very well in Campaign, because when you start, it gets absolutely ZERO power from the station. So you have to manually turn on the reactor to survive on your own submarine while docked. Oversight, maybe?
Richard Mc Nutbuster Sep 25, 2020 @ 9:48am
ninebreaker, i personally edited your ships with some nicer features and overall tidying up, am i allowed to post it if i mention this workshop post?
Welsh Aug 28, 2020 @ 2:09pm
works
Ninebreaker  [author] Aug 4, 2020 @ 4:52pm
Seems to be working okay, are you using the Mk2-6? That is the latest version. Only thing I can think is unsubscribe, and go into the install folder to delete it IF its still there. Then just resubscribe again.
The Salty Lemon Man Aug 4, 2020 @ 11:07am
say the file is corrupt help?????????
ゆき Jun 11, 2020 @ 12:54pm
The Milllenium Falcon of subs. We complain about it from undock to redock, but I'll be damned, I refuse to trade it in after 60 hours piloting this PoS.

Top captain complaint: Weird invisible gap separating medic bay and armory guarantees both rooms flood despite the state of the doors.
Top crew complaint: Left periscope controlling right turret and vice versa.

Top praise: Rooms are logically organized, as if God himself inspired you. Storage is bountiful considering its size, without any wasted space. I couldn't add lockers/bins in with an editor even if I wanted to.
=FF= William H. Taft May 23, 2020 @ 12:52pm
Generating new waypoints fixed bots not being able to enter the utility room for me.
Ghostwish May 19, 2020 @ 7:01am
After ChickenMasterTheWarlord's incredibly unhelpful comment, I opened up the latest version of the Mk2 to see if there was actually an issue with the waypoints. All I could find was that it looks like they won't be able to open the utility room (where the life support is) because the waypoint circle on the door isn't set to be a door. Beyond that, they might get stuck on the outside because the waypoints collide with the turrets and nose of the submarine.
Chicken Master May 18, 2020 @ 3:04pm
I like the sub and all but god damn the AI is stupid. It needs better pathway finding otherwise they're all gonna kill themselves trying to do their jobs. Please fix this!
Gurkie May 3, 2020 @ 4:12pm
Thanks for making this, love it!
Ninebreaker  [author] Mar 10, 2020 @ 10:32am
Try to verify the cache that helped some people, if that does not work copy the file from the mod folder to the submarine folder. Latest on is called Dugong M2-6
Squashyhex Mar 10, 2020 @ 9:45am
Mm, I'll try unsubscribing and resubscribing. It definitely used to work fine for me though
Ghostwish Mar 9, 2020 @ 8:25pm
Hey Squashy Hex, I think you may have an old version. One of the old ones had the issue where the Gap for the Junction to Utility door didn't cover both Hulls, so everytime someone opened the Junction/Utility door, it would flood the Junction room.
Squashyhex Mar 9, 2020 @ 5:51pm
Having an issue where the Junction Room floods randomly every 30 secs or so
Ghostwish Mar 9, 2020 @ 11:58am
Appears to be working now. Bots seem to struggle with the door to the crafting room?
Ninebreaker  [author] Mar 9, 2020 @ 8:23am
Also make sure you enable the submarine in your options
Ninebreaker  [author] Mar 8, 2020 @ 9:31am
Just updated it again, if anyone is having problems with the file getting updated or workshop you will find it in your mods folder under the name "Dugong Mk2-6 (Extended hull)". Just copy that file and paste it in your submarine folder.
Ghostwish Mar 7, 2020 @ 7:07pm
TIL: The propeller can be damaged. Dandy.
EnragedPlatypus Mar 7, 2020 @ 5:49pm
Been having an issue with this subs propeller taking damage at a huge rate. Need to literally repair it constantly.
