i have a character idea for you protoman since your characters have forms im picturing protoman can switch between protoman which has more offensive power but slightly less defense and breakman which has high defense and slightly less attack power i know my idea probably wont go through i just saw megaman was made and well....thought id shoot it out

Not gonna use it for now, gonna use the older one (Damage Indicators Together), and that's because while fighting DF i noticed that some of the dmg indicators were HUGE and took half of my screen...

I tried this mod and its awesome but is there a way for players to modify how long the numbers will be on the screen until it disappears? I used the bouncy numbers feature and I thought the numbers will bounce once and disappears but it bounced like 5-7 times taking like 2-3 seconds on the screen and doesn't look good when lots of mobs are fighting all at once (lagged lol) so if it's possible that would be cool! :steamhappy:

I guess, I have to lower the size of the numbers for mob-to-mob attacks, which can deal huuuge amounts of damage. :squirtmeh:

@Clockwork I am the original autor of the mod. Back in 2014, I guess. Arcade once fixed a bug and reuploaded. Now I had to upload again, to fix some new things. I was not able to do that with Arcades version (technically Steam didn't allow that)

But... This already exists and there's a more refined version of this with far more options & customization. It's a client-only mod too, which is better than being a dual mod. Sooooo.. i don't understand the purpose of this version existing. Am i missing something?

You get 5 stars only when you get enough votes (like several hundrers or several thousands). And you have 0 stars if you don't have enough votes at all. At least that's what I understood.

By the way, what's the difference between this mode, and the other one where your name appears as a contributor? (The "over 9000!" server mode)

are you still trying to figure out how to track numbers built up over time? if so then you can set them in a variable. At spawn/load set a variable at zero and then every 1 second tic add that variable to your stat or number and then call to it on a certain tic. Like this: tic 1 sec variablehunger(starts at 0) + currenthunger set variablehunger = variablehunger tic 5 sec print variablehunger. You can use it in multiple ways that's just one very simple way to track the hunger numbers and then every 5 seconds print the sum total hunger numbers reduced or added during those 5 seconds. You can also try using "while" statements as well to get a more accurate aggregation across multiple stats. I used alot of these types in engineer so feel free to poke around in that mod for some ideas about tracking numbers. Cheers, and great mod btw.

I want to figure out, how to aggregate small changes over time (starving, ...) so that a number appears every second with the summed up damage of the last second. It's quite difficult, I guess...
