You can change the timings in the mod settings.
Yes, the default settings may be a bit hard, especially with a high wealth..

just played a game with this! Everything worked, but the end battle spawned raids every 0.5 days. Every 12 hours there would be another one, which did not leave enough time for recovery.

Within 3 days I had two mech clusters, three raids of over 100+ raiders, and a mechanoid raid full of Diabolus mechs. (The settlement did not survive 🤣) I was around 275,000 wealth and three in-game years time, playing on Cassandra and Strive to Survive. I didn't change any mod settings.

I reloaded that same save and started the vanilla spaceship launch ending. Raids happened every 1 to 2 days, with only one raid happening within 12 hours of another. Raid sizes had less than 30 raiders. There were no Diabolus or high-level mechanoids, and no mech clusters.

Wondering if raid points and raid timing is off balance? Maybe DLC content is calculated wrong? (Royalty mech clusters, Biotech advanced mechanoids)

With all the mods out there that let you get guests and make stores etc. to gain silver. A End Game mod that require you to gather an absurd amount of silver to buy your colonys freedom to end the game would be a really nice little mod :D

That may be, but i like to have a long term goal to work agaist.
Its also fun to start new colenies as if the one you are on is getting too big the game can't run it. :)

So hope to see more possible endings like this.

For an endgame you need more c# than xml, so yes, it is not the easiest to do, sorry. At least I don't know an easy way to implement one.

Just a question, is it hard to make an endgame mod?
I go with the ide of making a mod with more "Easy" alternative endings that you can get by quests. But im not pro at the XML.

This is an ancient rule about how you can reach the right to officially be recognized as a town. It is an alternate ending where you have to defend a specific building for a couple of days.

If you can found cities and become something greater, shouldn't that have bonuses and settings if you enable the "Ideology" Expansion Pack? They already have towns, leaders, and rites...

Thank you for making this! If you ever get a bug up your arse and want to work on this again, I have a small suggestion on how you might evolve this: what if there was an item we needed to go acquire (holy grail or something similar) and once we find out where it is, and once we go retrieve it and bring it home -- now the end game starts, and we have to *keep the artifact safe* for the 15 days or whatnot.

Exactly, It is the end of the game, an alternate path to the space ship endings.
This one will give you the right to be a city instead of leaving the planet :)

Thank you for the mod. Definitely one of the things I will add to my next run.
May I ask you to take more options into consideration? I always wanted some kind of "diplomatic" victory. Like when your colony becomes quite rich/powerful to be taken into account by other factions, you can start diplomatic trades to unite other factions and eliminate pirates to start turning this Rimworld into Glitterworld.

You are totally right: the danger is much too high much too soon:
--> There was a bug in the calculation on when the raids should start to be hard :)
--> I've fixed this bug and also added a reduced danger time for the first x days, so that it should be a bit easier on the first few days (as a warmup)
--> Also I've reactivated the debug button where you now (in God mode) can reduce the remaining time in 1/2 day steps if you want.
This change will be uploaded in a few minutes.
