It'd fit right in with TF2 humor then, but this item is a dud. It was one of my first serious submissions before I was any good at making things for the game.
The zipper bits are modeled on. The zipper track is just a texture though. And making jiggle bones for such a small detail of the model is pointless since they are hardly visible and LOD 1 removes them..
It does not, I do recall you asking that.
add this!!!!!!
Valve, add this beautiful thing now.
LODs lower the amount of polys that need to be rendered at certain distances, which doesn't stress your machine by trying to render them all, and nearly every video game has LODs. The LOD for my fanny pack allows it to be rendered at a lower polycount than up close. You'll never see the low LODs at a distance, so you'll never really be able to tell the difference.
Basicly to sum it up, polycount deals with model optimization. The importer only allows a maximum of 1,400 polys for the highest LOD. Sorry if that didn't answer your question, that's just my basic knowledge of LODs.
What do the polys have anything to do with this?
Eh, its nearly a third but not exactly half either. The actual fraction of polys doesn't matter, just the fact a ton are gone.
It...
It's a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ fanny pack for the pyro.
*slow clap*
Good work!
