Great mission. Finally a scenario where i don't have to mess around with AI subordinates or spin my head round behind a rock just to not get sniped.

@GuyFieri'sSunglasses Thank you for your question. I would love to but it's just not realistic at this point. Too much to do, too little time.

If you're really keen you can download the PBO from the link under "See Also" (above), extract the PBO, and add multiplayer in. I know that's probably not the answer you were hoping for but sadly it's the best I can suggest.

Brilliant! This scenario is F*CKING HARD but i love it! The random spawn of the bots keeps it fresh, you never know where they're gonna be next!

I like it because its hard, only thing I would add is some heavy fire in background, like some mortar hitting building next to you at begining of mission.

I really like this mission. I've never beaten it but damn I can't stop playing. Can you make one like this for CSAT too? I feel like CSAT doesn't get as much love as the rest, and they have some dope gear I'd like to try out in a Hog Cove style mission.

Hmmm, a bit disappointing; I give it 6.5/10. I played a few times (dusk and day) and got a Mission Succes, but for me it lacks some kind of balance. The big attack is nice and seems realistic to me, with lots of action. But rather soon after actually entering the village your entire squad -and indeed the whole platoon- gets wiped out, leaving you to clear the village alone. I had this happening a few times. Then you must 'listen' to the radio messages and run from grid to grid to find the last few ennemies. Luckily the last one got killed by Zulu squad, because I was about ready to quit.
I do not know if others had this same experience and I do not know how to solve it.

I really enjoyed this one, it's pretty straight forward but gives a decent challenge with plenty of replayability.

@NahmenJaydenFBI Yes, it would be possible to make a multi-player version of this mission, but unfortunately I don't have time to do it. Multiplayer missions are much more time-consuming than single-players ones. Partially this is to do with locality issues [community.bistudio.com]. Partially it's because they're harder to test (need to test multiple players, join-in-progress, and dedicated servers).

I would love to have the time to work on it, but unfortunately I don't. :steamsad:

I played it again but with the AI accuracy fix mod, and enjoyed it! Still sections C and D are wiped out even before reaching Molos... Thanks for you work:steamhappy:

@joshtb86 The AI patiently wait for you to be ready, in case you need time to select some equipment or check the map. Simply start heading away from the boats and they should get moving. (If they don't, something is wrong, let me know!)

when i disembark in singleplayer all the teammates stand there. no one actually does anything. no matter which team i switch to, it doesnt work. any thoughts??

This mission was created well before the Marksman DLC was added to the game. If anyone would like bipods or other bits of gear added to the mission please comment. If people want them, I'll try to find the time to add them in.

There is actually a medic. It's clearly mentioned in the briefing. There's even a picture of him!

As for the weapons, you can make do with "standard issue" equipment or you can pick your loadout at the landing site. That's mentioned in the text above and in the briefing.

I'm sorry if you find the weapons "inaccurate and full of recoil". You will, however, have to bring that complaint up with Bohemia Interactive as these are the standard weapons available with the game. There is a wonderful forum here [forums.bistudio.com] where you could voice your concerns; I'm sure the lovely forum-goers will be able to help you out.

Good mission. The allies stay in aware mode and so move to the waypoints regardless of fire. They may actually survive longer if you insert a trigger so that when contact is first made, the behaviors switch to combat, allowing the units to go prone and begin using cover and tactical movement. It's slightly boring to hunt down the lone stragglers by yourself while the city is quite. After all was said and done, there was an enemy patrol that kept patrolling a hillside at 272229 in safe mode, despite the chaos that was erupting in the city. It wasn't until I engaged them that they entered the fight.

Very fun, grueling mission. Has a distinct Normandy vibe, especially considering how dug in the enemies were and how many squads died. The variable factors of enemies and weather were really nice too, one of the more easily replayable and thrilling missions on here.

we were the last squad left. the rest were massacured outside of the town. while moving up gunfire erupted and i took refuge in a shed praying none of the bullets would go through. i looked back to see the status of my squadmates to be horrified at the sight of 3 bodies lieing motionless on the ground. i knew they were gone. it was just me and my squad leader. the next 12 minutes were a horrifying and painful chore of clearing house after house. finally after moving to the courtyard my squad leader spotted out 2 hostiles in the center of the town. i move up through a house and take my shot at one of the contacts. I miss. He returns fire and hits me in my exposed leg pinning me down. i apply first aid then quicky pop back out and put 4 rounds in him. 1 down. i see another soldier running across the street. i pop 5 rounds and he goes down. after 40 minutes of firefights, clearing, and death. I am finally greeted with the relief of MISSION COMPLETE.

@Sleepy Glad you enjoy the mission. I will take a look at the mission without mods and see if the same error happens. Sometimes game updates cause weird bugs like that. But, as you say, it could well be mods.

I like this. Lots of fun. Having problems actually starting the mission though, sometimes it goes to the opening boat ride scene but never manages to get into the first person view. It just shows the high up camera view (where usually you can press space to start palying quicker). It stays like this until i have to restart. Only sometimes it works as planned. I have some mods so maybe thats the problem, ultimate soldier, asr ai3, authentic gameplay mod and community base addons mod. Anyway, when i do manage to play it, I like it alot, especially the randomness of it all.

Actually, after going through it again, it seems that it's only one or two members of the squad that stay behind, rather than the entire squad. Don't know if that helps, but there you go.

I have seen the AI do silly things when getting off the boats, but not as consistently as you describe. I'll have a quick look at the mission in the near future to see if I can reproduce it. It might be down to your mods, but it could be changes made by Bohemia to the base game.

It seems that there's always one squad (either Alpha or Echo for me, at least) that will stay at the beach while the others move. If this is the first you've heard of it, though, it's probably mod related, so don't worry about it. It's still a lot of fun, even with a squad MIA.

Great mission, it is a real showcase what Arma 3 is about - the new lighting, cunning enemy close range AI - I enjoyed this hard urban battle very much!
