@Joe Dirt
This doesn't stop them bleeding out and dying. It extends the timer so someone with a medikit can stabilise them.

for some reason my soldiers die anyways?
DarK Ego Mar 4 @ 6:58pm
Any way to make this a perk rather than soldier base ability?
RedDobe Apr 21, 2024 @ 5:08pm
Would be neat to be able to use this on bleeding out mocx soldiers when trying to keep them alive for capture.
Iridar  [author] Oct 14, 2023 @ 3:11pm
Advent units normally do not bleed out, so it would be pointless for them.
MrT Oct 14, 2023 @ 1:38pm
Would it be possible to give advent troops this?
PvP with advent trying to take my troops alive has some appeal.
Or maybe I should look into advent Fulton options...
Iridar  [author] Jun 10, 2023 @ 12:31am
It is not.
Diego Jun 10, 2023 @ 12:00am
As I understand a Medkit is not required.
Noname Sep 12, 2022 @ 6:28am
Iridar  [author] Sep 12, 2022 @ 3:38am
@Pudge or feed
Я не вижу великой проблемы в таком абузе. Если сильно мешает жить, можно дать этой способности кулдаун или заряды через Boundir's Ability Editor.
Noname Sep 12, 2022 @ 3:17am
Либо просто ограничить кол-во использований способности на одного бойца. Третий вариант - это сделать так что условно у каждого бойца есть при себе "комплект бинтов и йода" но как и медкит оно ОГРАНИЧЕНО - 1 набор у каждого.
Noname Sep 12, 2022 @ 3:17am

@holgerschlegel
Great to hear.

@Iridar
Thanks for the feedback. It was worth a try ...
There is already a "collection mod" for additional German translations that - for whatever reason - are not included in the original mods itself.
I contacted the author and he will add the German translations for your mods.
Iridar  [author] Jan 7, 2022 @ 9:35am
@holgerschlegel
Including translations is something I've done in the past, and it turned out to be a very tedious affair, because upgrading a dozen mods takes a lot of time, and then I need to change something in the mod, and then the translation becomes incorrect, and then I have to upload an update to the translation...

It's all very tedious and tiresome for me. I suggest you make your own translation mod and publish it separately.
holgerschlegel Jan 7, 2022 @ 9:22am
@Iridar
Maybe you want to include the German translation I created for this mod. You can download the files here:

@Rusty | SkyPaladin
What you're talking about is very complicated. If you're suggesting that as something I should do, then I'm not interested.
Rusty | SkyPaladin Dec 21, 2021 @ 5:56am
I always wondered how a spray on the outside of armor near a wound magically heals it. Why not change the Gremlin "heals" to just stabilise, counter poison / fire / disorientation, etc, and leave actual healing / countering bleeding to basic slap patches used in person, particularly a more advanced trauma kit in the hands of a trained specialists.

Also, an overhaul of injury system such as crits inflict crippling effects that reduce mobility. Instead of only "fireman" carrying prone soldiers, also include a one-shouldered assist of a crippled / stunned soldiers too?
Iridar  [author] Dec 19, 2021 @ 10:44pm
@Rusty | SkyPaladin
I don't plan on reworking my mods to dance around LWOTC.
Rusty | SkyPaladin Dec 19, 2021 @ 8:10pm
I think it is the LWOTC mod that has new soldier perks for specialists where Aid Protocol can put out fires, cure poison, etc. Perhaps you can revamp your mod to complement / enhance these new abilities? For example, I don't like it how LWOTC removes the ability to Hunker Down to put out fire, perhaps you could give a Stop Drop and Roll ability to soldiers to use on their selves, or a fellow soldier in LWOTC?
Haite Dec 7, 2021 @ 11:29am
Essential! Thank you so much!
Gonanda Sep 25, 2021 @ 2:07pm
This mod - is awesome! Thank you so much dear friend for your talent!:bigups::bigups::steamhappy:

@Azzure225 Agreed. Had an "Extract VIP and 2 resistance soldiers" mission with advent and lost, one of the soldiers I was trying to save got critted by a sectoid and entered bleedout, our last medkit was on the sniper who was panicking and far away, so I had to carry him into cover and first aid him for a while until I could get him stablelized, then carry him out as the sectoid who shot him got eaten by lost and another swarm showed up to block our evac.

The whole thing took place in an old UFO wreck in a contaminated swamp. Man what a mission :)
Azzure225 Nov 3, 2020 @ 8:24am
trying to give first aid to a downed trooper while defending off lost was one of my favorite moments while using this mod. I recommend it fully to anyone who loves to see cinematic moments play out on battlefield.
Iridar  [author] Jun 29, 2020 @ 5:45pm
@ethan.pacitti
You could config this mod to extend the bleedout timer by 99 turns.
Dahl Jun 29, 2020 @ 5:17pm
If there are any mod creators out there, or if this mod already exists ignore me, I was hoping you could make a mod that allows you to use first aid on a bleeding out unit and eliminate the time all together.
EvilPolygons Jun 14, 2020 @ 12:56pm
I love how useful this mod is *without* being an easy button; it can take a lot of work to keep a downed team member alive and get them to the evac zone. Hands down one of the best gameplay mods on the Workshop. :cozyspaceengineersc::2018bestaward::tga_trophy:
Philadelphus Apr 17, 2020 @ 6:33pm
Just had a chance to use this for the first time in a new campaign, and it not only saved a soldier but made the mission even more tense and fun. I had no Medikit charges left, and had to make interesting decisions about who to perform first aid on the bleeding out soldier as I had her carried along with the rest of the team through a Lost-infested city. Excellent work! \salute
Iridar  [author] Mar 19, 2020 @ 2:37pm
This mod doesn't interact with Stabilize Me in any way.
Daddy Takeda Mar 19, 2020 @ 2:08pm
Because I'm pretty sure I had a soldier that had a medikit and I could only give first aid and not stabilize the bleed out.
Daddy Takeda Mar 19, 2020 @ 2:07pm
Is this compatible with the mod "Stabilize me"?
Deesthetics Aug 24, 2019 @ 10:35am
Thanks xD
Iridar  [author] Aug 24, 2019 @ 10:30am
@nappilydeestruction
Yes, these two mods don't interact in any way.
Deesthetics Aug 24, 2019 @ 10:26am
Is this compatible with Stabilize Me mod?
Insufferable Smartypants Jul 6, 2019 @ 8:55pm
This mod came up earlier in one of the Facebook pages today. It's such a great idea you wonder why nobody thought of it sooner. Must-have!
d_valroth May 9, 2019 @ 3:10pm
Expensive, yet so valuable.
michael199310 May 9, 2019 @ 1:41pm
A group of veterans sits and watches how their friend bleeds out, because they never had proper medical first aid training. No more!
UberDude May 7, 2019 @ 3:57pm
Just got one taped by an advint turret crit and was 1 turn away from evac.......Then this mod comes up :spacemarineskull:
Fritzchen May 5, 2019 @ 10:13pm
Great Efforts - again and again - have a BIG Hug .... You're a horny Guy :steamhappy:

very good quality of life mod! so simple.
Brave Sir Sausage May 5, 2019 @ 7:51pm
This is a really cool idea!
I've since given up and just given everyone a medikit but it would be cool to have something every soldier can have that isn't magic hitpoints spray.
Samio May 5, 2019 @ 6:13pm
Very cool idea! Excellent as always, Iridar.
Beagle May 5, 2019 @ 4:09pm
Awesome!
Dragon32 May 5, 2019 @ 3:52pm
This is an excellent idea, well implemented. Thanks Iridar.
B0atsMcG0ats May 5, 2019 @ 3:28pm
Y'know, it's getting to the point where I log in to Steam, see another Iridar mod, and say

"Well, here I go subscribing again.."

Excellent work, as usual!
