4. I have re-added the Kingdom to the Entente. Its removal was actually an oversight on my part - as a part of an update I was working on long ago, involving the Kingdom no longer being part of the Entente at the start, to compensate for the TI not being part of the Commune, but Italy being allowed to join down the road. This was to try to level out what the devs have been working on and to help limit the Entente and Germany from outright curbstomping the TI. I will likely readdress this later when I am not as busy.
The bugs mentioned have been fixed with some caveats. I'll explain those below with explanations of why the bugs were happening and HOW I fixed them, for the curious.
1. Event conflicts appear to have been caused by Paradox moving the events folder to the main directory rather than the common/ sub-directory. Therefore, KR's events were overwriting mine.
2. Rather than manually changing the colorization of the Country every update I've opted to utilize the cosmetic tag for Sardinia turning it into the Kingdom of Italy. It is now the shade of green used by that cosmetic tag. But it should solve that issue.

I have done some playtesting and the mod seems to still be working. HOWEVER I cannot promise that it is balanced in the current version of the mod, as the KR team has been working hard on adding new content. This mod will see the SRI join the TI immediately, for example, which was changed in KR recently so that they weren't. I have not had as much time to delve deeper into balancing. I also cannot promise this mod will be compatible with other major submods that have developed since the last update, and I doubt it would be compatible with mods like Ride the Tiger, KRX, or The Empire Strikes back.
If you do receive any bugs, post them here and I'll attempt to address them whenever I have time again.

The Italian Republic exists more as a group of Republicans who did not agree with the Syndicalists. They fortified the Po Line and sought help from Austria. Austria agreed for the sake of keeping a buffer state. The Republic can be convinced to rejoin the Kingdom via plebiscite.
1) How the Italian Republic came into being?
2) Why are the Papal States independent? Shouldn't it be part of the new Kingdom of Italy? The Savoyards conquered Rome as soon as they could in 1870, why would they leave their capital in Papal hands? Especially since, according to the new lore, "Italians never accept a treaty that breaks them up" so the Papal States wouldn't exist.
Updated the Generals and their portraits to match KR
Updated the localisation - countries with no names should no longer be an issue
Updated the list of companies by incorporating the Sicilians
Added a handful of events for the Mafia and Destroying Democracy chains. These are subject to change in the future and are also subject to some randomization. You may get the same event more than once - as designed.
Added two new Ideas for Italy at the start - this is an attempt to make the Kingdom of Italy a bit weaker at the beginning. Expect to see some changes to these going forward. For now they are both fairly easy to get rid of.
Gave names to the Italian infantry equipment in the tech tree

@CapitalistStalin - That would be mostly due to the updated tag lists. I am currently fixing broken tags for the next update.
@76561198009314671 - I have been mostly focused on scripting the focus tree and events over flavor in the tech tree. Expect flavor to be added in the future.
The only named rifles are the lvl1 Carcano and a lvl2 Ontario Lee Enfield.
