So if I had a bunch of ai cheat removal mods before, should this cover everything in one now?

i didnt even know this was whole thing was even a problem, so im not a terrible player its the game that cheats(im still bad, but maybe i wont quite as bad)

thanks for making this, unbelievable the levels of wool-pulling CA does with all the hidden mechanics and AI cheats. the more you play the more you realise you have to resort to cheese to counter their cheats, not strategy (or more like, you can't really strategize like you'd think you could because of all the hidden crap mechanics and AI buffs) and it's really not the version of Total War I like to play.

Tested this mod today on Legendary difficulty in Vortex campaign and it still works. At least I can confirm enemy AI don't get auto exp every turn.

Nope, doesn't work at all. Skaven AI is still a pain in the a** since turn 1.
I tried Pestilens campaign. A new war declared every 3 turns (it didn't happen without this mod).

Just got a comment about this mod on one of my other ones.

Full disclosure, I haven't seen ANY of the comments on here, I don't know when or why, but I guess Steam stopped giving me notifications about posts here.

I just assumed it was still working and that TWWH2 hadn't gotten any/many updates since TWWH3 beta dropped.

I'll see if I can get just a general refresh on the mod up sometime soon so anyone who still wants to use it can.

It still works as in it doesn't crash, but it breaks a lot of things, I personally stopped using it.

My plagues when playing lord skrolk only last 1 turn. Cauldron undercity building spawns 1 turn duration plague that doesnt spread. Could this mod be causing it?

Can I play this game without this mod? yes, Will I have fun knowing that bots can stand up 3 armies with no financial resources or buldings? no. That is why this mod is a must have. I honestly hated WH2 until I found this mod. it removed all the unnecessary hoop jumping you have to do to counteract the bot's BS and let me actually focus on playing the game and not building doomstacks. This game is way more fun when NPCs aren't able to steamroll you on turn 7 with units they can't afford or recruit.

The reupload doesn't do anything different though, it's just a new upload and the game thinks it's up to date because of a newer update date, but the files and table entries are the same, so technically they're identical.

For those wondering, this works but it's half broken, new/reworked factions aren't fully taken into account, there's something wrong with AI legendary lords that makes them instant respawn, and there's probably more.

The reupload is no different, tables are teh same, no fixing was done on it, just reuploaded to make the game think it's not out of date.

Don't want to be annoying but an update would be nice, I want to play with a friend and we don't want the ai cheating so much. Had a campaign where beastmen recruited 2.5 turns worth of units in my face and then stomp my one army next to their city. Not fun.

In the mean time you can use https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2422078176 it's a lightweight mod compared to this, but it does a good job of balancing the AI on the campaign map to just modifiers instead of straight up cheats.

Doesn't affect player modifiers, diplomacy or combat settings though.

Mod that makes the valuable veterans mod, and the game in general, playable. Eagerly awaiting the update.

Except the game only gives buffs when you play on easy, so don't play on easy.

The mod also advises this, that if you use this mod, you bump up the difficulty.
