But just Why???
Out of All the Things that could've been Done, Why change the EAS??? it being Noise and What sounded like to be someone or something lamenting is more Eerie than "Ye Olde Malfunctioning Voice"
SCP being part of Soma Universe could work very well, if only you used different monster model/effect than this cucumber, it could have been more entertaining. Hopefully we can see more mods like this. It has a lot of nice ideas.
mod's already pretty good, tho id love to see more added on, or maybe something improved about what's already there, like adding something else to when you're going down to that office.
The 001-1 keeps venting in front of me :(
This is a phenomenon 🤯
It got my heart pumping a couple of times and I didn't find the puzzles excessively difficult but there was a nice sense of "what the hell do I do" at times. Just enough to make it feel like you were accomplishing something.
If you don't know what SCP is it may be a little confusing
I agree with others that the ending is confusing and anti-climatic. Even just getting on board an empty train and having the credits roll would be more satisfying. It's poorly executed, and it feels a little forced like you weren't sure how to end the story. The rest of the mod really does make up for it though and I still loved it
But otherwise this is a really wonderful creation. If there were a full game built around this plot that's as tense and well made as your mod I'd happily put money down for it.
In the part where the monster moves in the vent, and you have to go to the electricity room for these batteries(?) and when you walk straight out of the room, the small extended wall has no hitbox and you just run straight through it, into your death.
ps: for me the crane sound broke at the end and i had to listen to it even in the credits
I have loading at the entrance area for 15 minutes. Is it that long?
I always love mods like this because, even if they're completely unrelated to the original game, they're an extension of the game in a sense, and, if nothing else, free content!! (about 80 mins worth for me)
The scares were actually really good, and it was quite story-packed for how much playtime there was without it being completely about the story/giving you too much to read.
You basically get one 'burst' of content to fill you in on the story, and then you have to survive from there XD
The puzzles were the right amount of challenging and logical (some require outside-the-box thinking, but nothing completely illogical/irrelevant to the current situation).
Ending was short and sweet, and I really enjoyed the game :)
Spoiler:
The death of the protagonist was a nice twist, and it was more realistic. No super hero, normal person turned soldier, etc. It was what you'd expect to happen irl but never in a game.
how do i progress?
the hatch wont open and the proxy kills you anyways
