Event: MT.20200 #Cuckholdry Strength Inheritance event
You used the 'Sturdy' instead of the 'Burly' trait. Thus cuckhold children can't get Burly.
Its definitely possible. I believe I implemented it in the HIP version of this mod, which is bundled with HIP and imo the definitive version of the mod (and CK2)
I dont intend to work on this any longer so you can take inspiration from the HIP version (bundled with HIP) or implement it yourself (you'd have to just check scope if twin, and if so copy the phenotypes from the twin.) Tbh I thought I had that implemented. Do twins have different genotypes? (if you check with console the characters should have flags like int_aaAaAa)
Also, @Crimson7, if you ever read this, you're more than welcome to implement any or all of my changes into the mod. I also included the localization fix that I mentioned a couple years ago, if you ever want to add that in.
And @Kazat0, yes, you could. And not just hypothetically. Though you would get the inbred trait a ton still unless you remove it with another mod, since this mod doesn't change the inbred trait at all.
It could be those atrocious events in the game that sometimes fire, that feed your wife chickenfeet or something stupid like that.
I can't do anything about those events as I dont edit any game files.
But your understanding is correct. And that means my mod is not causing the clubfoots.
It could ALSO be that you are using incompatible mods. Sometimes if a mod adds more traits it can cause these issues with improved genetics.
Probably
The mod is considered complete. Its been widely tested
So, I don't really know how you want me to share it with you. It's really only one line, so you could just add
"delicate_death;of diminished physique;de sa faible constitution;an schlechter körperlicher Verfassung;;físico disminuido;;;;;;;;;x"
to the newtraits.csv file. But if you want me to send the actual file, or something else, let me know. Also, the same edit would work for the Improved Genetics Advanced version, so ideally that could be updated with it as well, especially since I tend to use that one the most.
P.S. Feel free not to credit me, it's a really minor edit, so I don't really mind
Afraid not. I would recommend HIP instead anyway.
IE. In conclave, if you have a Curious child, in adolescence they may upgrade one intelligence level: e.g. from Slow to neutral, neutral to Quick, Quick to Genius.
Same goes for Rowdy, but opposite (intelligence downgrade).
What happens with Bright/Dim children? Will these Curious/Rowdy event chains just not fire for them?

Can you share this guide?
The rate of negative traits has been thoroughly tested and is the same as vanilla, slightly lower. Traits in this mod appear in clusters rather than spread out like vanilla. Thats more realistic but admittedly its not great for min maxers.
Obviously the rate of these conditions is lower in real life than in vanilla or this mod. But thats part of the fun.I would suggest it might just not be your cup ot ftea. You could also try drecreasing the rate of recessive traits. You would have to edit the mod files directly.
Other than that, calling something 'stupid' isnt particularly kind especially when its free work, that has 99% positive rating in the community.
Sure! Thank you for the kind words and the offer. If you add the localization I;'ll update it and credit you.
Mod hasnt been updated in years cause I'm pretty satisfied with it as a final product.
The CK3 version did go up and had a lot more features but also a lot more bugs so the community disliked it. I took it down as a result.
CK3 modding is quite awful across the board. So many issues. I wont return to it until royal court.
P.S. It's pretty minor, and I don't know if you know already and don't expect you to update it since it hasn't been updated in several years, but I've noticed there's some missing localization for deaths "resulting" from the new traits.
And honestly, if you don't want to figure it out yourself and update it, but you are willing to update it if I fix it for you, I might be down to do that. I've been learning to mod ck2, so it should be something I could do. Just let me know if you want that.
Thats a base game feature... Unfortunately. I dont touch the base game events due to compagtibility.
Ahh, I appreciate the clarification. Perhaps a future iteration could remove that result. I much prefer logic to random madness.
Its unlikely hidden recessive traits and more likely the moronic events that if you feed your wife a rabbit your child becomes a clubfoot.
These complaints have been given multiple times.
You get a whole lot of Lovin' when you marry your cousin.
A subtle negative effect, but yeah. Inbreeding leads to genes becoming either AA or aa after a few generations, which means that recessive genes will pop up more for inbred families. Its a less major effect than I'd like though xD, and the majority of negative genes people get are actually from the feeding your pregnant wife weird food event.
We are waiting for CK3 IG, but we are also waiting for the game to be in a good state in the first place, so take your time and take care
Just genetic traits. It improves the inheritance.
Thank you for your kind words :)
I for one have used this mod for years and really admire your efforts you put in to it.
Honestly it was just bad for my mental health seeing all the negative comments and feeling bad every day about something that I literally made for free.
Thats not to say that I wont make IG for Ck3 at some point. But it has to be of a good enough quality that people dont bash it and that I'm happy with it.
Though hopefully now a lot of the more casual CK3 players have left and the majority now are probably familiar with the CK2 IG. When I get time I will work on it.
With the new culture DLC you could have isolated cultures with unique genetic make up that evolves over time.
Any HIP version that is somewhat recent (within the last 2 years) ships with Improved Genetics, so you should definitely not download this.
