To change the countries name you would need to change the Localization whilst the player is in game and that would cause alot of problems and it would be VERY difficult to do it this way almost impossible because from what i think, changing the Localization ingame is a bad idea.

I've been cracking my skull against a wall trying to figure out how to change country names, the closest I've gotten so far is creating a separate gui like you did where you can type the name in, then is activated by a decision... causes lots of errors.

What part of "IT'S NOT POSSIBLE TO RENAME NATIONS USING THIS TECHNIQUE" do you people not understand? Yard1 literally plastered that warning on EVERY SINGLE ONE OF HIS MODS yet you persist with the "Do rename nations" mod, when it's simply not possible. Learn to read.

@Yard1 You dont know that for sure. One of these days somebody is going to do a massive overhaul of all the stuff mentioned and make it more user friendly.
